The good I wasn't disappointed by a single act I saw. The sound quality was also great. We attended every late-night tipi set and think I will do so going forward, the crowd has a lot more energy than usual. Personal trainer secret set, Bodega, the Last Dinner Party, CVC, Crack Cloud, Panic Shack were my musical highlights. I did end up watching first half of Ezra and 2nd half of KGLW and got a good view at both so I'm happy with my choice. Food was good, boutique showers were good, weather was good, overall festival vibes were great. The bad My friend was stung by a wasp at the piano stage. Sad Ezra cancelled her piano stage set. The ugly I don't like people repeatedly saving spots at the barrier for their mates to get drinks, particularly if they aren't big fans of the acts... Also not letting kids in front when you are 7ft tall. Toilets (for women, kids, mobility issues, need improving). I never saw the seats getting cleaned... 🤢 Powercut x2 during Panic Shack.

Yep I also wanted to see Ela Minus, but I am enjoying listening to Brigette Calls me Baby and Be Your Own Pet so not too disappointed.

Does there need to be a reason other than to drive interest/excitement?

Yep I would be watching Ezra if not for the KG clash. TLDP have a large female fanbase (from live videos I've watched), which might be somewhat under represented on internet forums... They don't even have an album out yet but there has been a lot of media buzz and they were popular with the crowd at Glastonbury. 'Nothing matters' has been an earworm for me the last few weeks.

my trick is to wake up at 5/6am for a shower, dry my hair then go back to sleep. I camp in the boutique area though, the shower situation there has varied year-on-year.

Do we know it was personally her fault rather than a technical issue, someone in her band or crew?

Argh worst possible clash for me 😞 Wanted to see King Gizz for ages, but I also love Ezra and my friend I'm going with she's the only act she knows 😅

The good - evening acts and tipi/bigtop had some great crowd atmosphere (Yard act, Keg, Priya Ragu, Groves, Los Bitchos). I was able to easily get to the front barrier for Black Midi and Bright Eyes. Food was good but is maybe running out of variety after 5 years. The queues at the bar were generally fast moving. The weather was perfect in the end. I had my first healing gardens massage on Sunday which removed all aches and pains. Managed to see a parrot finally. Landlordgate. The bad - Was disappointed with the lack of crowd enthusiasm during daytime acts like Starcrawler. The Pixies were also lackluster for me. The ugly - The toilets. Overall had a great time though 🙂

Sounds hopeful from the met office. Not hoping for a 3rd heatwave personally... : The conditions are likely to become generally more settled towards the end of August. Moving into the start of September, the north and west may see periods of rain which could occasionally spread further south and east. Some brighter and more settled periods are also expected, especially across the southern and eastern parts. Temperatures are likely to trend above average with the chance of occasional very warm spells.

Are you sure? They are normally next to the tent with the sofas and charging station. How can there be no fence, everyone will be using the power banks/showers..!

Well with End of the Road being at the end of the festival season, most bands will have had plenty of chances to catch covid by now unfortunately.

I buy the programme anyway... You need to for the comedy/crafts etc timetables. I don't see this being a money making decision so I'm just confused to be honest (as the programmes seem to be printed already, so last minute changes aren't the reason either?).

Wearing a mask in the toilets has the added bonus of combating any smells from the previous visitors...!
