yeah fair point i suppose, i suppose his rise has just been fairly quick. i remember nbhd manchester 2018 he played to a half full academy supporting Sundara Karma and now he’s being touted for the biggest gig there is. fair play to him though, nothing against the boy

i know, as much as i’d have them every year i absolutely acknowledge that they shouldn’t be there every year

i really like Sam Fender but surely even in 2 years he’s nowhere near a Glastonbury headline. I thought it was ridiculous he was given the headline slot at Leeds Fest let alone headlining the pyramid.

i’d like to think so mate, the loyalty scheme and the whole new layout thing (whatever it ends up being) feels like an attempt to return to how the festival felt pre-covid and earlier. i love leeds fest but there’s no denying that the whole atmosphere and vibe changed massively after covid. most likely due to it being the only massive event on that year and people who wouldn’t usually go attending

am only messing. although i must say the last 5/6 years of r&l is very different to the past 2/3 years of r&l.

couldn’t agree more. r1 tent’s atmosphere was second to none when it was bouncing. i remember brockhampton in 2018 was absolutely ridiculous.
