If true, that's particularly damning and problematic.

Not helping me decide if I'm up for coming up to Manchester for one of The Killers' Co-Op Arena dates in June.

If there's still problems at the Olivia Rodrigo gigs next week it's going to be quite the night on social media.

    So... what's going on here?

The reduced capacity test event happened saturday, 2 days prior. They had to uninvite 4000 ticket holders, some with as little notice as an hour before doors according to the Guardian. Someone in MEN claims the electricians are so far behind that only 20% of the cables are in.

An half run test event on a saturday then supposedly full opening on the monday is an incredible level of optimism, and fitting from the people who built a modern arena with no rail links.

They had a feature on it on the news on saturday. Looks really nice. Owner (manager?) claimed it houses the biggest pub in the world, which sounds unbelievable.

Does anyone else go to the festival, watch loads of iPlayer stuff after, then get mixed up with what they actually saw in real life? My brain is mush.

When I watch things back I can feel the air on my arms, and practically smell it.

Although watching Kylie do her set on the tele enough is now making me forget my own experience.

Rain City Drive were formerly known as Slaves (and informally known as Slaves (US)). But they sacked off troubled and troubling singer Jonny Craig and renamed.

Good album. Saw them perform it in full at Slam Dunk a while ago. Can't have been a 10 year celebration??

Not at all, last time Rihanna performed here, I believe her huge your was cancelled due to lack of ticket sales. Rihanna isn't the massive seller her that I would say puts her on superstar level.

Neither of these statements is true. Her last tour was 2016, stadiums. I saw her at the Ricoh.

They could add every seat for a show to Ladbokes Live and I still don't think I would win more than a free spin.

I'm mashing all my power plays on Girls Aloud, but I think I'd have success if I was to go for Griff, Justin Hawkins, The Residents or one of the acts on there for multiple venues. Seems like a stealthier version of SFF for those gigs.

I also wonder if location matters. Giving tickets away to someone half a country away has less chance of that person turning up on the night.

This is quite the left field announcement indeed.

Can't get my head around it. Closest thing we've had to this was ALT LDN a couple of years ago, but that was in London, not the MK Bowl (65000 cap). On a sunday too. Good luck.

Press release talked up the big crowd they got at Electric Picnic. Not sure a crowd at a festival in County Laois that had sold out before the full lineup drop should be used as an indicator of how successful this will be. But St Patrick's weekend is the perfect time for an on sale.

  9. Country 2 Country sells out multiple nights at the millenium dome with less famous names than Morgan Wallen. I'd expect these tickets to go straight away.

Seeing how fast Chris Stapleton's arena shows went, it's putting the fear into me for when Zach Bryan finally announces something.

Interestingly massive terms as you went to buy saying all tickets must be transferred to individual holder and you can’t all get in on one phone which is definitely new

Had to do that for a Sam Fender arena gig last year. Felt like a reaction to the Brixton events, as it was soon after. Haven't had to do it since. Was probably slowing things down at the door, ironically making things worse.

announced friday just gone. It's nice to have something like this promoted by Live Nation, so it's unlikely to be terribly handled and either empty (although I usually get freebies in that case) or cancelled. Was weighing up Reading for that weekend, feeling old vs the value of all those acts for the price, but now Jungle and Mette is 5 minutes walk from my flat

Yeah looking forward to this, had tickets for her tour and for a festival she was playing and she cancelled/pulled out of both. Been looking forward to her announcing shows again

Just went on Priority presale to get a pair of tickets. £98.75 for 2 on the balcony. I checked what I paid when they went on sale last May and it was £56.57. She didn't even sell it out before the cancellation. I'm saying no today and seeing how I feel nearer the time.
