Didn’t leave the site during the weekend last time, Reading don’t care about bringing alcohol in on second entry do they? Boardmasters were pretty strict about it

Seems to be a gap between Demob and Inhaler but it would only be a 25 minute set - at Leeds Demob are 12:45 - 1:15 and Inhaler on at 1:40
Sounds about right for a mid-sized secret set, not expecting anyone at the level of BMTH but someone like the Vaccines for 25 mins makes sense

Nathan got there first, strange they didn’t announce a replacement with it, don’t have one yet perhaps?

Where did I say festivals shouldn't go ahead? I don't blame people, I blame the people who put things in place, let's just get that right.
I'd rather people could get out there worry free and enjoy their lives for all it's worth but unfortunately certain rules set has led to thousands of reasons why others now know what is coming their way. That is the fault behind FR and such like, not me.
You are right it is sad, it's very sad if people feel the need to wear a face mask when attending a music event or any big event. I genuinely feel bad for them if that is what the world has come to.
I’m not committed enough to scroll back through the hundreds of pages of posts, but you seem to be forgetting when you reappeared during discussions of whether the festival would go ahead a few months ago and complained that it was irresponsible and that all of us were being hypocrites for wanting to go. I also have no idea where I said you were blaming people haha. I get that your whole persona is this guy whose only opinions are the opposite of whatever the majority is saying, but just try to lighten up a bit

Has anyone noticed the lineup stage breakdown on the Reading website has Yungblud above MGK? Probably not an issue if he’s pulled out anyway but strange that it’s inconsistent with the poster

That's good. My comment was the general view of wearing a mask at a festival or any music event actually.
You really hate letting people live their lives, don’t you? First saying the festival shouldn’t go ahead because of safety concerns around covid and then judging people who decide to wear masks to feel safer around covid. It’s quite sad man

I’ve just tested positive for COVID, meaning I’m going to miss Reading. Absolutely gutted, but it is what it is, and honestly I was considering selling my ticket anyway just because of how ill I feel.
Have placed my ticket (Weekend Reading ticket) on Ticketmaster resale in case anyone is looking.
Really sorry to hear that mate, that’s been my biggest fear for the past week. Had it about a month ago so I know how bad it can be, hope it isn’t too hard on you

Has anyone camped in white/brown in Reading before? I usually camp in orange but haven’t camped in a couple years, and I now want somewhere a lot quieter so I can get a good sleep. Are there many families camping in white/brown?
Me and a group of about 10 ended up in white by necessity in 2019 and it was great, clean toilets, quiet enough to sleep sound and a nice mix of people, I don’t think I actually saw anybody younger than GCSE age there

I can't recommend Street Feast enough. They've been at a couple of festivals before e.g. Latitude but this is the first time they'll be at R/L. They're an organisation of food traders that do street food that are set up in various London markets. There's loads of different options and it almost guarantees they'll serve good quality food. They have to pass some sort of level to trade under the name, so you won't get any shitty undercooked beef burger from a dingy van from any of them. I highly recommend them and if it's anything like Latitude, you'll have loads of options to choose from that sell all sorts of different styles of fantastic food.
How are the prices compared to other stalls? If they’re not bad then they’ll be my go-to places every day

But if it's 2, it would be reasonable for them to just say "Unfortunately so and so can no longer play, replacements will be announced very soon." Reading's comms are lacking as ever.
The news will be less disappointing to a lot of people if there are new acts stepping in. Finding the replacements first limits the damage from an act pulling out

Either the lineup is the same or there’s gonna be big changes if they’re withholding it this long
Could be true, they might leave it until say monday just to get all of the potential drop outs sorted
