Nice friendly festival. Gets good in the woods stages after the headliners finish. Usually some good new acts in the alcove and the area opposite (formerly solas, not sure what it's called now). Saturday main stage opener, at about 12pm, has become a 'big 90s indie band' slot, which is usually a lot of fun and worth catching. Not sure if it will be the same this year looking at the current line up, although it could be the lightning seeds.

Pulp, metronomy, confidence man, Paul and Jackie, bootleg Beatles and the proclaimers for me. We always find plenty more to do too

It's a shame that Friday looks great at both the BBC sounds and the main stage, whereas I can't get that excited about either stage on Saturday evening. I think I'll probably make the most of that though and spend Saturday evening away from the stages and see if I can find some other entertainment. **edit** If the sun's out then I'll probably be sitting outside the BBC sounds tent listening to Don Letts
