Anyone else thinking Fall Out Boy might turn up here? I don't think they're too hard going for TRNSMT but still think it might be a bit of a push. Think it could be a VERY good booking if they go for it though.

They’re in with a shout, but there’s also Edinburgh, Glasgow & Stirling Summer Sessions so they might play one of those. Hopefully get an announcement next week

  2. Holly Humberstone is playing Edinburgh in March so I can easily picture her being on the main stage at some point. Declan McKenna is also playing Glasgow then too so he’ll most likely make an appearance too.

Can’t really see who else can be headlining that hasn’t headlined before but only time will tell. Surely Sam Fender will be sitting this one out? Him headlining after appearing as a special guest the year before wasn’t really much of a change of set & this is coming from someone who loves Sam Fender.

  3. The Killers are always a shout but then they’re playing Edinburgh on the Royal Highland Grounds/Connect this year. Along with the 2 nights at Falkirk Stadium last year so maybe they’ll sit next year out?

I love Sam Fender but he needs to sit this one out, his headline set which pretty much the exact same as his “Special Guest” slot last year. But only time will tell

Didn't realise Supergrass were off again. Dang it, had assumed I'd finally catch 'em next year.

It’s a bummer as their shows are always class! They were only meant to be 2020 but of course covid extended it to 2022. I was too young to see them in the first run so jumped at the chance to see them during their reunion tour. Them supporting The Killers at Falkirk Stadium was truly stunning

Supergrass are going on a break. They’ve all said on Instagram etc that their appearance at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute was their last performance together for sometime anyway

Wouldn't be surprised if he did one of the Big Top shows if they returned tbh

That’ll be good but I’d rather have him at Edinburgh Summer Sessions preferably. It’s a very well suited venue for him but time will tell ☺️

  7. I’m certain George Ezra will be one of the headliners, if not TRNSMT then one of the other Scottish festivals! His most recent post announcing a few UK 2023 arena dates it says they’re the last “UK arena shows” very clearly meaning other uk shows to come.

  8. Safe to assume Ian Brown won't be at the rescheduled dates as he's been removed from Neighbourhood Weekender & Victorious Festival. Was never a big fan of him so I won't be that fussed. Going to assume it's mainly going too be the same lineup with a few changes here and there

Did Post Malone’s Glasgow Green gig that was around TRNSMT weekend ever get rescheduled? I wonder if he’ll be part of next year’s Summer Sessions since he’s playing Reading & Leeds. I don’t know if they’d book them for it but I’d love to see Queens of the Stone Age do a night too.

His show was cancelled all together. Guns N Roses & the Hellamega show both got rescheduled to Bellahouston which is disappointing as I prefer Green. Would love QOTSA to announce a show soon, it’s not billed as a U.K. exclusive so we should hear something soon

I had for supergrass but it just says they are working on a new date

Same here, I loved their show at the Barrowlands back in February. Got a ticket for their socially distanced show in Newcastle. Had to wait 15 years for that Barrowland show & couldn’t wait that long again haha. Will go to the new Glasgow show when the new dates announced

I feel like they usually struggle with the August events to shift the tickets. Kings of Leon & The 1975 didn't sell well at Summer Sessions last couple years for example.

Yeah it’s really either way. Tickets would either go very quickly for the Summer Sessions in Edinburgh & Glasgow or will be 2 for 1. But with Galvanize the vast majority of acts had played Glasgow not that long ago which is always a factor against people wanting to buy a ticket for them again

  12. Does anyone know about potential dates for the non TRNSMT Glasgow Green shows that was meant to be happening this year? Hopefully none of those shows get cancelled and all get pushed back. Was very excited for HELLAMEGA & Guns N' Roses next month

AJ Tracey was in first email they sent out, but he's not on the posters online now

The TBC slots were Aitch, AJ Tracey and Dermot Kennedy on Main

I was noticing that too with AJ Tracey. It says on the event page that AJ is playing. My theory is that he was confirmed a bit later on but had everyone else confirmed so sent the posters to the artists ready to make an announcement & then AJ was confirmed shortly afterwards. A bit odd, but I’m thinking he’s playing on Saturday

  14. It’s going to be more or less the same as 2020. Keane were meant to be playing a festival in Newcastle the day before their TRNSMT day & have confirmed that they’re playing the Newcastle festival in 2021 so they’ll be sure to come to TRNSMT too as it’s the same week. Don’t imagine many artists changing tbh

Anyone else get an email about the competition? Turns out I’ve won two tickets for Pixies!

I’m especially happy about that given the price.

I've not heard anything as I thought that I might've as I guessed Suppergrass & TDCC. Glad to hear people have won tickets though

  16. If Supergrass gets announced for Saturday I’m going to go nuts as I’ve been a fan for ages. Getting to see them at the Barrowlands next week & I’ve been waiting for 10+ years to see them. Seen Gaz Coombes a few times which was great but seeing Supergrass will be something else. Then along with Keane is a fanboy dream for me 😊
