  1. All tested and ready for another festival season.
  2. different person, Jaguar has a show on radio 1 i think
  3. The inflatable F&B tent I have is so easy to put up. You just peg the four corners and pump the two bars up. All up and running in 10 minutes. Can even put it up with the wife without it breaking into a divorce level row.
  4. i jumped the fence in 94 (along with half the country) i remember very little of it so must have been a good one.
  5. I have the same one. Absolutely love this tent. Was a godsend in 2019, stayed pretty cool and even managed to sleep in till about 10am.

    CD Swap 2022

im in. the 2019 CDs are the only actual CDs i have listend to in years
  7. The older I get the further back I want to be. The idea of being in the think of it now days horrifies me. Easy access to bars and toilets are a must. My wife on the other hand loves it near the front and in a mosh pit. I leave her too it and let her find me at the end.
  8. We have opened the box, best use the technology as good as we can, there is no going back now.
  9. the data collected from wristbands will be very useful for future planning of festivals. able to tell where crowds are and how people move throughout the site.
  10. Lakefest was completely cashless last year and will be again this year. Blue Dot was in 2019 and I assume it is again. both worked really well for me and I had no issues but neither are even close to being comparable with Glastonbury. I haven't actually had proper cash on me for a good few years now. I tend to not even have a wallet as my card is on my phone and watch. At Glastonbury I will have an emergency supply of cash but expect to use card all the way
  11. The traders I spoke to all seemed to prefer the cashless system as it made their life easier. And I’m not sure what data is given away. Certainly nothing more than everyday life.
  12. It is a nice little festival. Friendly and fun.
  13. I found the wristbands worked really well last year. I set it on automatic top up and didn’t have a problem all weekend. Was nice to lock all my wallet in the car and not worry about it.
  14. Is anyone going to Lakefest this year? it seems to be left off the festival list.
  15. That is good to know.

    Car size.

Is there a limit on car sizes for the car park. Rather than several cars we are thinking of bringing a van to throw everyone’s stuff in and than just putting everyone else in a car.
  17. the one that always pops back into my head is New Sensation form Summer XS back in 91. probably influenced by it being my first stadium gig and the crowd went crazy.
  18. I assume Olly will come on and guest with the Pet Shop Boys
  19. I managed 10 gigs (and they were quite a mixbag) and a festival in the end. I haven't included any from Lakefest as the 10 gigs wrapped up the list nicely Gorillaz NHS Gig @ O2 Elbow @ Bournemouth International Centre Deacon Blue @ Cliffs Pavilion, Southend Erasure @ O2 Billy Ocean @ Cliffs Pavilion, Southend Michal Ball & Alfie Boe @ O2 Paloma Faith @ Cliffs Pavilion, Southend New Order @ O2 Calling Planet Earth @ Charter Hall, Colchester Paul Weller @ Cliffs Pavilion, Southend
