    Coop 2023

Hi Just checked out co-op at Download. There are offers for members so worth singing up. I.e Meal deal £6.50 members £5.50, their salt and vinegar crisps £2.60 members £1.60. It was well stocked. Large ice cubes £2 a bag. Soya, oat and cows milk. Gluten free bits. Cans (various case sizes) and wine boxes 2 litre sav blanc £20 or 3 litre Shiraz £30. Hope that helps a bit x
  3. Arghh I got pre festival shift 🥳 I’m soo pleased x
  4. Very much looking forward to the reports especially the sticky stick 🙂 Thank you x
  5. I love the moth cocktails. I’ve just seen m&s have added to their range as well.
  6. Hi I'm at Download Festival which has a co-op. I'll try and make a note of prices, stock and report back 🙂
  7. The attitude is everything one sounds good. I've never heard of them. I loved doing the accessible camping with Oxfam at Download. The database will be great if all of these can be added.
  8. Is that the same as the Green Crafts? I remember applying for Green Crafts in 2020. You had to complete an application form, get a passport photo and post it all off to them. I think it might have been an address in Ireland. They reviewed the applications and then got back to you. https://greencraftsvillage.com/events-1
  9. Bought a day ticket for Saturday Leeds. It's the first time we haven't done a weekend in years. Hoping that the next announcement may add some smaller acts to see, but there wasn't enough across the 3 days for a weekend this time.

    Glastocam!

There was definitely a bonfire there in 2019. The top area had stewards and was cordoned off. This year it was only the fireworks on the Wednesday. It felt a lot busier this year. We struggled to find a space, so watched from the tipi field. x
  11. Submitted annual leave for a couple of weeks. Need to get there before anyone else decides they may want to go x
  12. It's interesting to hear the different experiences. Sorry to hear not everyone had a good time. We were on D pattern with Oxfam, and luckily had Mary's Gate for all 3 shifts. I think splitting the shifts up for the further out gates is a good idea and it definitely should be forwarded as feedback. The Oxfam team plus the security and traffic stewards were all very friendly and chatty. The night shift was steady, and dealing with questionable village tickets kept us on our toes. We will be trying for volunteering next year over normal admission mainly because we loved the 2 days pre gates opening and the camp site perks. We would love to do recycling crew and have enquired in the past, but know thats difficult to get so will be looking at Oxfam again.
  13. I think this is our favourite from the ones we took. x
  14. I agree keeping chat to a minimum. I expect people to try and find space where they can, but be polite and respect personal space if possible. Waiting for Paul McCartney I had 2 people push in to a tight space; however they then proceeded to plate up their evening meal (divided curry, rice, etc out onto 2 plates) and ate it slowly with the plate a couple of inches from my face. Not pleasant x
  15. Hi I'm sorry we didn't stay long at the Tow and Hitch meet anxiety/nerves got the better of me. We loved doing Oxfam and will definitely be doing it again. We've had 2 very positive experiences at Download and Glasto. Interested to hear how everyone else got on? x
