It's interesting to hear the different experiences. Sorry to hear not everyone had a good time. We were on D pattern with Oxfam, and luckily had Mary's Gate for all 3 shifts. I think splitting the shifts up for the further out gates is a good idea and it definitely should be forwarded as feedback. The Oxfam team plus the security and traffic stewards were all very friendly and chatty. The night shift was steady, and dealing with questionable village tickets kept us on our toes. We will be trying for volunteering next year over normal admission mainly because we loved the 2 days pre gates opening and the camp site perks. We would love to do recycling crew and have enquired in the past, but know thats difficult to get so will be looking at Oxfam again.
