  1. I remember massive moshpits during Limp Bizkit in 2015. I think I have never seen crazier crowd at Sziget than that evening had, absolutely mental that was. I think Fred at one point even asked people to stay safe and take care of each other. Good times - would join those pits again and that's the only reason I'd love to have Bizkit back again. Might not be a progressive booking but great fun. But sadly most of headliners this year are not really progressive booking.

So without the refund protection I would not be able to get the refund? On the Sticklich website it states that the cover is only in the event that lead booker is unable to attend, but as lead booker, I am attending. The seeticket customer service form states the following when I tried to apply for a refund, there is not much information otherwise on how to go about cancelling the booking.

    Information

We regret that we cannot exchange, refund, transfer or return tickets unless the event in question is cancelled or details of the event are significantly changed (for example venue, date etc).

Did you get this sorted? I'm getting the same message and wondering what would be the next step..

So KoL - Calvin Harris - Shawn Mendes - Eminem - Daft Punk - Katy Perry - Rage Against the Machine ?

This line-up is all over the place

Can't see Daft Punk really playing anything.

If RATM does play Reading and Leeds, Sziget could be able to get them if they really want to.. will they tho? Would be worth replacing any of the current rumoured headliners in my book. Don't want to give them hard time but if they really have all the headliners booked, I'm struggling to see them going through a hassle for RATM...

They would come over here for more than a festival, a quick jump to Sziget and Pukkelpop would already be worth the money.

The person who said it, seems to be right about the new design. A lot of colours

I'm getting some old school vibes with this design. I think I've enjoyed design of 2018 the most. Not really feeling this one... yet. Seems like the concept of diversity, love, tolerance is shifting more towards saving the planet. Got to always keep up with what's trending, ha.

He could but he won’t. He could probably headline, but he won’t.

Pendulum didn’t work as a sub & I think they Glasto knew it. Big enough to headline other with a big light show at night up against Macca.

    Faithless did though.

If Calvin Harris was down to sub, someone would surely have a tap on the Eavis & organisers shoulders & say it was bad decision.

Doesn’t Calvin do just DJ sets these days? A DJ subbing Pyramid would be really odd. At least Pendulum was a band back then.

cant really imagine any issues with passes if Emily didnt carry them ... a quick radio call or google search would clear up any issues almost immediately ... and security dont seem to work alone ..... A quick look on google and I can see Emily with lanyards and the mini guide  but cant see the passes .. but in other photos she has nothing around her neck

Yeah, but it all takes time to prove who you are. During the event nobody has time for this - why not just wear the pass to make your life easier.

  7. I remember seeing Emily on Thursday during that extinction rebellion thing and she definitely had a pass with her. There’s no way everybody recognizes them and nobody has time to argue with security during the event.

I'm going to help you out. Three of the headliners are Chili Peppers, Liam Gallagher and Selena Gomez as pop name. No that last name isn't a joke and definitely a headliner or no appearance. She might be co-head but definitely head.

Delay in announcement due to negotiation with one other big act which will be great if it comes off but looking less likely every day. Big announcement coming at start of 20 January week if signing made.

Lots of the other people signed have been mentioned on here already and also Biffy Clyro and maybe Pixies. FKA Twigs is possible but issues about the A38 for reason I don't know.

I know you won't believe me cos you don't know me but TRUST me.

Lets say you're correct. Are rest of the headliners not booked yet or you just don't know the rest?

  9. Some guy is saying on reddit that Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing the last day. Might be a wishful thinking from him as he seems to be a fan himself, but apparently his info comes from "production". Personally not to keen to see them, but would still be a much better booking than predictions we get here.. There's still really no great rumors about stuff going on in August.. we really might be getting a weaker line up this time..

Friday and Sunday in the pit this year were trickier as there was a platform built into it which effectively removed about a quarter of the available space.

Literally didn't see anybody use the platform tho.. who was it made for?

Staying between the two FOH tents worked like a charm for me. As you can't get there from all sides, it always stayed quite calm.

Do people choose Sziget for the lineup? I would imagine it's for the Sziget experience more than anything. Day tickets yeah, but not the 5/7 day tickets.

Been for 6 years and never done it cause of the line up. However I did feel let down in 2017, headliner wise it was pretty bad that year, so i guess it does still influence my enjoyment somehow..

Also they only listed Rock am Ring and not Rock im Park

This alone is enough to be pretty sure it’s fake. Rock am Ring and Rock im Park not sharing headliners is just as unlikely as Reading and Leeds not sharing headliners would be.

  13. I got a tipi, (I'M SO HAPPY, I REALLY WANTED IT WOHOOOO!) but I was able to just buy one - I thought it was 2 max? Or that was the deal just for Worthy View and Sticklinch?

Anyway on the other note something happened which in my honest opinion should not be allowed to happen by the system. Since my bank card was used in my group for everything, another person got through Sticklinch camping, but since my card was used she for some reason did put my registration details in as well. So now there's a Tipi and a 4-person lodge in Sticklinch under my registration which should not even be possible!? You can't really transfer the ticket so I'll probably have to cancel Sticklinch one, I'm sorry for her and I'm sorry for the random stranger who was unable to get the tent cause of it.. Anybody faced similar situation before?

  14. I’m really paying for it cause of toilets. Me and pooping is kind of an issue and flushing toilets at worthy view were brilliant. i have to poop many times a day and cause of my health it is a process of its own. Taking a dump in the green ones really is a nightmare.

    Thanks for reading.

i think he costs wayyy too much and they wont do the ed sheeran mistake again with over crouded festival

The issue with first day seems to be that there's no alternatives. Most of other stages are not running so everybody are obviously going to be at the main stage. Would make much more sense to open all the other program venues from Monday, people would scatter all around the island. They did open A38 on Monday for the first time which was a good start.

It’s a shame to coaches can’t just drop off the Worthy View goers first on the way to the main festival - driver could check if anyone needed a drop off there before setting off

Would be hard considering how packed the luggage container is. Maybe specific coaches for worthy farm ticket holders would do the trick.
