It's strange, I don't remember any, or hardly any, rain during Cee Lo Green at WH. I remember having a great time and his costume malfunctioning, but nowt about any rain. But then, I don't remember any rain during Wu-Tang or BB King, or Metronomy in the early afternoon either.

Now at this time, Tues afternoon, I will be waiting at the airport for my first flight to Frankfurt! Will be shaking at the knees...

Four Tet's new visual show?

Whaaaat. 2011 was decent weather-wise. Saw all three headliners with a hoodie on. Sunday was baking if I remember. The Eels were great in a bit of sun. Friday Special Guests was a slog tho. Raining with 20k people in the Park. Saw a fair few arguments kick off that afternoon.

Think it's been discussed a lot already, but it was a lot of diff things. First one after the pandemic, people climbing fences, bands too large for their slots (including secret sets which didn't remain secret), poor crowd management, extra wristbands given out to friends of staff etc. Don't think it was just one issue, but a cluster-f**k of many different things.

Exactly. If dust in the eye gave me the same high as snorting ketamine, then great. But a light drizzle to keep the dust at bay from swirling around will do nicely. Not a shellacking or downpour; just enough to keep the dust down. Lovely stuff.

Got our tickets delivered to our lead booker - one of the successes of Resale Group 5. The system works, people!!! All systems go!

Also, just rammed a load of compact items into the tent bag to check it in. Travel towel, poncho, medicine, innersoles, collapsible bag... Should save hassled and make packing easier for my main carry on.
