I reckon Glenn Hughes will focus on the Burn/Stormbringer era, songs from which Gillan won't touch. Wouldn't surprise me if they were totally different setlists.

What about subbing Alice Cooper on Thurs? Then it could be a run of Heart > Journey > Alice Cooper on MS2 for the classic rock fans.

Metallica two nights? Given (i) Hellfest and Graspop being different weekends next year, (ii) both being four days, and (iii) Metallica being in Europe (with gaps for both weekends), I would think it's a strong possibility.

I wonder if GnR could be a possibility for this? Rumour that they're playing Glasto so, if true, they would be in Europe at the right time.

Anyone got an idea as to when we'll get the stage splits / times? Also, any info as to whether additional groups have pulled out? For example, I see Code Orange have cancelled Download and wonder whether that means their European tour is now in doubt...

The Scorpions tick all the boxes, including appeasing the classic rock community still in shock from the Aerosmith to Sabaton switch. The only slight issue might be that there is a chance they're already signed up for 2023 and it's this contract renegotiation which is delaying the announcement.

Yeah, some classic rock definitely needed. Not sure they would come to Europe, or even play Graspop, but I would be delighted with Bon Jovi...
