I wouldn't expect many more major additions. This festival is basically a "baby Primavera", with the strength and depth of the undercard as the main selling point, rather than a top-heavy poster. The setting and atmosphere are amazing though, so if you manage to find some gems in the fine print of the lineup I'd certainly recommend still going.

Hey mate, ended up going to Best Kept Secret on your recommendation and had a great time! Just as you said, the atmosphere and setting were amazing! I discovered a fair few bands that I hadn't heard of and the sound on each of the stages was great.  There were also loads of great food choices and we also went for a posh meal at the Lodge. Also spent a fair bit of time on beach parts of the festival and had a swim. Its a great alternative to the usual festival.

  2. Hey people, ive got a question for those that have already been to previous mad cools and got a taxi home afterwards...

Can anyone roughly remember how much an uber might cost from the festival to somewhere like Sol in Madrid city centre? I ask because i went to a stones gig in London a few years ago and uber were charging £230 for a 3 mile journey because literally everyone was trying to get an uber and demand went through the roof!

Not sure if they're still sending out wristbands, however it's worth logging into the Mad Cool Area anyone. Pretty sure you should already be registered - you just need to enter the ticket details to log in.

That will at least reassure you that they have the correct address info etc.

Thanks for your helpful reply mate. I just logged onto mad cool area and my detail's are on there 🙂

  4. Hey guys, i recently purchased a day ticket from festicket. Does anyone know if I need to register it on the mad cool area or will the wristband automatically be sent out to me? I would email festicket but they have a habit of not replying to anything!

I was complaining to my mates about how this fest - which I’ve loved every year and regarded as comfortable and breezy - has suddenly become a Fyre Festival but they were having a great time still.

I only saw Kacey / Charli / Rina due to crowds. Tous Stage took an age to get to

Sorry if this is stating the obvious, but the "pending" to me suggests there might have been a problem with payment – did the money definitely leave your bank account?

Yeah i checked my credit card statement and the booking went through okay. they even sent me a booking confirmation at the time. Not ideal before fly out tomorrow but hope someone gets back to me.

Hi. A friend had the same problem. Think long and hard if you have changed email address during the pandemic => check what email is registered on you at festicket profile. That solved the problem for my friend, found the email in the forgotten / non-used mail box.

Hey thanks for taking the time to message me. Ive used the same email that's registered on my festicket profile. On my festicket orders page, my booking is showing as pending. Its been pending for over a year unfortunately. Thanks to the helpful advice from the lovely people on this forum, i emailed everyone and their dog, i should hopefully get a reply!  Hope you enjoy the festival. It will definitely be worth the wait 🙂

I guess emailing tickets@primaverasound.com is also worth trying

Thanks for your advice. I have just sent an email to the email address you suggested copying in Access Ticket and the non replying and massively useless Festicket. Hopefully someone replies soon. Hope you enjoy the festival 🙂

Hopefully someone else here who bought via Festicket can help you out! I had issues with the Access Ticket app but people here helped me persevere and get it sorted.

Thanks Zoo Girl Music. Hope you have a brilliant time at the festival 🙂

I got mine through Festicket and received 5/6 emails about Access Ticket since the start of April, with a link to verify. Not sure if it’ll just work if you download access ticket and go around it like that.

If not their customer service email is support@accessticket.app which might be more helpful than Festicket

Thanks for your message mate. Unfortunately ive had no emails from them. Just hoping to turn up on the Thursday and someone from festicket will be around to help! Hope you enjoy the festival 🙂

Have you tried downloading the Access Ticket app? Do you have a code or something from Festicket? I bought mine via Dice so a bit different but I never got my ticket from Dice, just did it via the app.

Thank you so much for replying to my message. Yes i downloaded the Access ticket app but my booking on festicket is still has a status of pending for primavera sound 2020! .. so frustrating buying from festicket and their lack of replies! Hopefully someone from festicket will be at the festival so I can sort this out.

  12. Hey guys, i booked my weekend 1 ticket from festicket but they haven't sent me an eticket with the festival just days away. Ive emailed them several times over the last few weeks but had no response. Is anyone else in a similar situation or have you received your ticket from them?

As we approach the festival, I know some people mentioned this a while back but I'm happy to bring it up again. Thoughts on a WhatsApp group for meeting, announcements and general tips and stuff for the festival? I'm happy to get it set up. I'm a newbie to Primavera so it'd be good to communicate with some others about the festival.

    Thoughts?

If interested drop me a DM and if we get a few of us I'm happy to set a group up.

Hey, id be up for joining the group. Im travelling solo from Blighty so it would be good to meet up with other peeps that are going or even join the group for general tips. I will drop you a message when I get a chance 🙂

  14. Thank you for all your replies. I'm really grateful. I shall obsessively check their website on an hourly basis to try and get tickets 🙂

Do you folks know where a possible shuttle bus to the festival usually leaves from? I last went in 2017 and they seem to have changed venues.

Anyone who ordered their ticket from Festicket last year had their booking updated yet? It still comes up as the 2021 festival for me

I logged into my account and it says 'pending' on my primavera booking. Mine still comes up as 2020... Ive emailed them at the start of the week but had no response.

A few festivals announcing lineups this week (NOS/Mad cool), surely Beni won’t wait months to get a lineup out once again?

Well most festivals (nos, mad cool, primavera sound) are announcing their lineups on the week of when the festival should have taken place so my wild guess is that we might hear something next week...
