I'm in London anyway for Madame X at the Palladium the following night so why not make a weekend of it?
Great stuff! I'm so excited - never seen her before.

Was on the site at bang on 10 but seemingly so was everybody else and those Carly Rae tickets sold out. Main sale it is then!
I was able to put the code in at 9.59 weirdly.

Man I completely forgot to put this in my list. It's in my top 10 of all time but somehow forgot about it...
Off to edit my list!

So happy that John Maus is back! Wish this wasn't on a Friday but could see myself going to this - will wait on some of the other days to be announced though.

Johnny Marr back again already?
Yeah that seems weird. And also doesn't seem to match Kraftwerk at all - could this be a mistake?

Bit of a random mix isn't it?! I like it though!
Been wanting to see John Maus for ages!

Michael Kiwanuka for Oya Festival the week before GM - looking like a very strong contender for headliner.

How do you rank Vulnicura in relation to the other Bjork albums?
3rd favourite after Homogenic and Vespertine.

Years ago when I pretended to be a dj, I remember playing this tune when it kicked off in a club. It had taken me ages to get a copy and cost a fortune (still looking at £80 for it now). It all kicked off lights came on and I was adked to turn the music off. Bollocks to that, no chance I was stopping this till the end. Fair to say I never got asked to dj there again.
Wow thank you for this hadn’t heard it before - breathtaking stuff!

One of the best is surely Jimi Hendrix's cover of Bob Dylan's All Along the Watchtower.

Curious to know who everyone is most hoping for. What would be your top 5 wishlist?
Think mine would be Jenny Hval, Bat for Lashes, Angel Olsen, Weyes Blood and Richard Dawson.

Not a fan?
Nope. I appreciate he's popular and will probably sell tickets though!
I reckon it would be quite a divisive booking.

Top 20 (although some may rise by the end of the year due to only being released recently e.g Angel Olsen/FKA Twigs). Also Orville Peck, Caroline Polachek, Nick Cave and Mount Eerie may creep in but need to listen to them a few more times.

Mac De Marco for Paredes De Coura. Could definitely headline GM
Nah Green Man wouldn't do that to us would they!?

Paredes de Coura have added Idles, the Comet is Coming and (Sandy) Alex G.
Unlikely to see Idles and The Comet is Coming back but I would love it if (Sandy) Alex G was there.

Fair point, although I think APE is a hard one to judge really as the subs aren't really traditional subs - thats the North stage headliner really. They've had the likes of Sampha, John Grant and Metronomy in that same position so not sure its as clear cut as that.
Yeah i agree it's hard to judge. And GM is hard to gauge as well - last year's line up was kind of strange in that respect (although i think we can assume a headliner pulled out).
John Grant was only in that position due to First Aid Kit pulling out i think though.
I could see it going either way to be honest but my instinct would be headliner.

Do you think they'd headline? I think their size is really hard to judge as they haven't done a proper series of gigs over here for ages but I'm wondering if they could pull off a similar deal as Eels where they play third (or properly more accurately sub)?
Yeah i'd say headliner for the same reasons as @SweepingTheNation. Looking at that year's APE line up, they had Beck in the same position and Father John Misty one step lower so going off that I would have thought YYYs would be headliner size.

So it looks like Yeah Yeah Yeahs are indeed touring next year (playing Shaky Knees in the US in May) which is interesting giving GM started following them on twitter after this year’s festival. Obviously not a confirmation that they’re playing but more that they’re on GM’s radar.
What would you think about YYYs headlining?
