  1. Hawley is supporting pulp at the arena, played about 7 shows at leadmill in the last year and doesn’t really fit the vibe of the festival. Would be very suprised if hawley is at tramlines
  2. @JBarbourdo you know any of the acts as of yet?
  3. Was it not potato’s and fortune cookies last time for truck and tramlines?
  4. @JBarbourany knowledge on when we could expect any info?
  5. Desperately hoping reytons don’t get to play sub. As others have said don’t think they will be there considering they have their own show at the arena in September as well.
  6. Truck is only around 15,000 where as tramlines is 35,000+…
  7. Fair point. Get what you are saying and agree somewhat but I feel he is poss slightly too big now for the tother stage and that especially with his first album he is accessible enough to indie fans to sub the main stage
  8. Sunday is often a bit more pop/family/older act orientated which I feel janiroquai would be ace for. Would also love Nile and chic back but feel it’s too soon after 2019. Staying on that Tom is now a bit more pop and mainstream so fits that criteria with de La soul, rag n bone man, dizzee doing that spot in the past (not indie are they?)
  9. I’m starting to think for my guess I’ll go for Friday - Jamie T, Franz Ferdinand Saturday - Noel, Fontaines D.C. Sunday - Jamiroquai, Tom Grennan
  10. You’re right, they were great at ynot a few years back and feel they would be a good fit for tramlines with a strong back catalogue
  11. Would love franz Ferdinand as a sub. Not seen them listed for any other festivals currently though
  12. 2018 was the stereophonics. Agreed 2019 was a strong trio
  13. A grennan headline would be very disappointing. Even sub would be underwhelming but you couldn’t argue he isn’t of the size to sub, headlining arenas somehow…
  14. Agreed, do believe his stock is higher due to his time out just feel I would be a bit underwhelmed if he was a headliner (that’s despite the fact I do really like him and saw him on this latest tour)
  15. Disagree, blossoms, vaccines, the wombats etc all shift similar tickets to him…
  16. Not sure I agree for up north. Sells academy’s well, as mentioned in previous posts feel he would be a weak headliner but a strong sub. Guess time will tell with this one
  17. Noticed jamiroquai is headlining victorious next summer. Would love him as Sunday headliner at tramlines
  18. That’s very odd considering they returned to independent ownership literally a couple of years ago. @JBarbourare you able to shed any light on this?
  19. Would be a good Sunday headliner, caters to the families, big enough, not playing Sheffield on their tour, played Kendal last year
  20. I would agree that they are not quite strong enough to be headliner. Hence why I said sub headliner…
  21. Would like a bombay sub headline, played a fair few of tramlines sister festivals over the last few years so we are probably due them
  22. Welcome back @JBarbour. Let the fun commence! Agree with others in that annoyingly general punters wouldn’t be too pleased with a wolf alice headline (even though I would love that as they are amazing)
  23. Yeah I feel blossoms will headline. Headlined ynot last year, big enough up north and no Sheffield date on their tour. Friday night headliner imo
