Tried to do some research about day schedule. Dates in brackets are confirmed by insiders, other ones confirmed by artists.
Didn't add anything to the August, 5 as it's unclear if artists really play that date or they just put it on their sites as the first festival day.

06.08 [Kings of Leon], [Foals], Daughter, Kensington
    07.08 Jon Hopkins, Ezra Collective
    08.08 [Calvin Harris], Glass Animals,
    09.08 blackbear, Keane, Miles Kane
10.08 [Shawn Mendes], Khalid, Bikini Kill, Bakermat
    11.08 [Major Lazer]

This sounds like hell for me. Literally any of the names I wanna see are is on the wrong part of the festivals... Gotta revise my vacations plan. Awful.

Taken into account all the info we got, if i’ve done my math well then dua should play on 5th or 7th

AFAWK, we have Dua Lipa, Eminem and The Strokes vacant for those dates: 5th, 7th, 9th of August

yeah but I thought "confirmed" usually means sopmething official

I mean, yeah, you are right. Don't want to get too much into semantics, but I thought it was quite obvious that - since we are lacking the announcement of the artist itself, the dates on which he would eventually be "confirmed" are provided all by insiders, so not officially set in stone, but yet very reliable.

All the guesswork we are doing here, all the "put the puzzle's pieces together", is not only for we have some weird-ass fetish about knowing stuff before press release, but also because people, after months of leakers coming out with repeated thorough leak news, still going with "aNd WhAt aBoUt RaTm" - which is okay, I mean, you do what you wanna do on a public forum, but it brings 0 to the conversation, especially coming from people that creates the account solely for that post and than go back to lurking.

Providing some recap may help somebody having his/hers mind clearer, and also may avoid them from asking for legit information that, yet, have been asked like 30 times before (again: legititmately, as nobody forces anybody to go and read 99 pages of posts before writing anything).

Yes of course. The Strokes are not really big here in Iceland, so assuming out of their popularity in Iceland they'd never headline. But bands popularity tends to vary between countries so I have no idea if they're a headlining material in Belgium or not....that's why I'm asking if we're sure they're headlining because I can't find anything that says they are.

...and I'd think Green Day, who have not played the festival since 2013 and RW seem to fit their tour schedule, would fit nicely headlining that Friday.

The Strokes are headliners everywhere they go: they ask for that slot and if a festival is willing to sustain the expense and to give them the spot, they will play, otherwise they will skip the country.

That's the reason why I assume that The Strokes never played Iceland: they are just not popular enough to drag the selling in order to justify the fee the organizers must pay to get them.

    Hello to everyone!

Apart from Eminem and Shawn Mendes as headliners, Empire of the Sun and Two Door Cinema Club do we know some other acts confirmed by @Sziget2020_Leaks who have not been announced yet? Such as London Grammar, Liam Gallagher etc.

And could somebody tell me if The Neighbourhood is really thing this year at Sziget?

    Thank you in advance!🙃

Those are all ones we know so far, maybe add Metronomy and Nothing But Thieves. Given that on A38 and MS no more than 15-18 names are left, I'd say we know enough... don't get it all spoiled.

Also, no London Grammar or Liam Gallagher so far, AFAIR

WHen I see this line up, happening in June in the US, with artists being present for Sziget ( Khalid, Diplo, NGHTMRE, ) , it makes me think " damn... I would rather exchange them with Blink-182, Neon Trees or Grouplove ... 😢 "

I get the fact that Blink 182 are one of those live you "owe" to your teenage years (same as Eminem, to many extents), but, trust me, they are the worst live act I have ever seen - Tom DeLonge was still in the band (and I don't know if that was a good or a bad), but it was painful and embarassing

Shawn Mendes on 10th August with Khalid as sub.

    Eminem - ASAP Rocky

    Kings of Leon (+) - Foals (+)

    Dua Lipa - Mark Ronson

Calvin Harris (+) - [Two Door Cinema Club]

    The Strokes - Lewis Capaldi

    Shawn Mendes (+) - Khalid (+)

    Major Lazer (+) - Stormzy

    (With + the dates confirmed)

They would be bit daft not to put one of the strongest headliners on the first day, 7 day tickets rather than 5.

You are right, IMO it will go like:

    Shawn Mendes

    Kings of Leon

    Dua Lipa

    Calvin Harris

    The Strokes

    Eminem

    Major Lazer

it is true that a lot of people left uuust after the foo fighters, even before the end ! last day is always hard, 'cause we know we soon have to leave ... :s

They missed little to nothing. A38 was just DnB, Party Arena was truly shit that night and the only decent acts were on the Colosseum, but it rained cats and dogs, so I felt like i was held hostage by the island at one point

I remember that @Sziget2020_Leaks said Eminem will perform towards the end of the festival. So basically it could be 9th 10th or 11th August. But in last two years Sziget is closing the festival with a rock band or something like that. So I would expect to see Eminem on 9th or 10th August 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yet he also said that Foals and Eminem are in the same 3 days bracket, so that is misleading now.

I think closing the festival with a EDM headliner is always better.

I honestly can't care less, but I heard a lot of people complaining for the lack of fireworks and shitty music on the last night. Just give the kids what they want.

Unfortunately I’m not entirely sure, that’s why I didn’t comment on them! Saturday is Calvin Harris as far as I know.

So, Eminem 5th or 7th August?

Speculation is that Eminem to announce world tour on Monday. Likely to include Sziget. I would be surprised if Sziget announces more than just him on that day - all the focus will be on Eminem, so why try and distract from it?

No, I wouldnt expect more names either, the reactions have been very good so far.

I actually would hope and expect that the day split Is released, in order to start the day-ticket campaign

Major lazer is headling the first night (according to bands in town).

When it comes to festivals, tour dates usually indicates the first night. If you look at Dua Lipa's site, it says the same thing.

Wait for Em's announcement and hopefully the day split will follow. I cant use any of these names without a decent day split, I don't really know why festivals still release this way: okay, I'm happy there is people I'm willing to watch but I wanna know how many painful clash I'll have to go through to actually watch them.

I did some prediction on the stages so to know how many names we already have. Feel free to comment and correct it.

Extremely complex work to do and to analyze. I did mine as well, of course days are all over the place, but still it works. In orange the names mentioned between the leaks that haven't been released in this block of names - in green the guys I believe belongs here or there but I literally listened to 5 seconds each.

I strongly believe that they broke the tradition to announce the Colosseum's lineup in a special announcement, as I cannot see that number of techno DJs to play A38 or Party Arena.

I have more than few doubt about my analysis, hence I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THAT GODDAMN DAY SPLIT SO I WILL KNOW WHAT THE FUCK MY FATE WILL BE

I panicked and shouted loud, but then I realized, they meant 3pm UK time...so

Looks odd that they would not tease it a little more, given the magnitude of the announcement, tho... weird if they do not release (because leakers would fail), weird if they do (because that is an odd strategy)

You're right and wrong at the same time. More or less every festival line up "leaks", every year. From what I can see only 2 other people on here have an idea of this line up. So its not many people. I can take a guess on how each person knows, by the way they are "leaking"

Gone are the days of strict embargoes. It creates a hype for the festival. A lot of festivals can't announce before January because of contracts and agreements in place with agents, other than that its when the festival wants to announce based on their marketing approach.

Yep, I thought that "authorized" leaking is starting to be a thing.

Do you confirm the announcement today 6 pm gmt+1? Or am I totally wrong?

Any chance the female headliner is Pink?

No, female headliner is very very likely to be Dua Lipa. Pink has never been discussed.

Looks like it will be something like:

HEADLINERS: Eminem; The Strokes; Shawn Mendes; Kings of Leon; Calvin Harris; Major Lazer; Dua Lipa

SUB-HEADLINERS: A$AP Rocky; Foals; Khalid; Two Door Cinema Club; Stormzy; Lewis Capaldi; ???

We basically have all the info we need, why trying to confuse the plot just to fuel random hopes?

  17. 2 minutes ago, JBarbour said:

It was me that said 5 headliners. Hes wrong on one of the headliners he believes playing another festival.

    From me.

More than that. 5 headliners and 75 other acts.

Negotiation for Katy Perry (or whoever) went wrong and they had to go for a plan B and steal a Dua Lipa's contract made for Balaton and adjust it to Sziget? Could see that happening.

Honestly, I'd take Dua Lipa over Katy Perry anyday, although none of the names are really of an interest to me.

80 names is impressing. I expect a lot of Party Arena and Colosseum in (breaking the habit a little bit, I suppose); I could not cope up with more than 50 names (and the list surely includes Eminem and Shawn Mendes), so I guess I will be up for a surprise anyway, and that is necessarily a good thing.
