  1. There’s a Ryanair direct flight at 16.10 too.
  2. Which day are you flying out? You can fly to Reus from Birmingham. Or Madrid and get the train.
  3. Spiritualized - 2018 Nick Cave - 2018 Apparat - 2019 Deerhunter- 2019 Cate Le Bon - 2019 4 of these were Apolo / Auditori. I guess I loved 2018/2019 way better than 2022 or 2023.
  4. 1. Hudson Mohawke, Iceage, Idles 2. King Creosote 3. Maple Glider 4. Nabihah Iqbal, Nadine Shah 5. Personal Trainer, Perfume Genius, Penelope Isles 6. A Place to Bury Strangers
  5. Undercard acts I’d love them to book for next year: Benefits, VLURE, Tomorrow Syndicate, Silver Moth, Helicon, Cindy, Vera Sola, Frankie Rose, Melts.
  6. This is why nobody I know went to the Madrid edition.
  7. They should do a Primavera Weekender here in the UK (an ATP fest basically, but without the ATP fuck-ups). Rockaway Beach isn’t quite there - the lineups are all over the place.
  8. Yes, there’s a night bus that goes down Las Ramblas from Plaça de Catalunya. There’s a festival shuttle bus that goes to Plaça de Catalunya from outside the festival. Google Maps has all the Barcelona transport details so have a look on there and plan a route back from the parc del forum or Plaça de Catalunya to wherever your hotel is at whatever time you’ll be leaving on Friday morning .
  9. The mall food court is open very late on the Saturday night, so I’ll head over there for food in that 2 hour gap in the schedule.
  10. I’m flying out very late on Tuesday 30th from LGW to BCN then back to Gatwick on Monday 5th from Valencia. Both Vueling. Outbound flight was around £59 including a cabin bag, a seat and the “flex pack” flight credit guarantee. My return was around £116, again including cabin bag, seat choice and “flex pack”. So you could book the flights cheaper if you’re not arsed about where you sit and leave off the flex pack. I booked my hotel with free cancellation in May at a decent rate luckily. Need to book a cheap hostel near the airport for the night of the 30th since I land after midnight.
  11. Sneaking their whiskey into the festival in the barrel the barrel
  12. Where are you seeing this, because I can’t see any events for 9-11 June on the CCIB website?
  13. Given the number of people trying (unsuccessfully) to sell their tickets, it might seem less busy than usual this year! The ticket sales thread on Reddit has 4.7K posts for example.
  14. I reckon “Quimera” is someone like Bad Bunny or Tommy Torres. I know nothing about Spanish urban music however so I could be completely wrong here.
  15. I pack one of those cheap plastic rain capes just in case.
  16. Covid-related staff shortages I think. I’ve had my flight on June 13th cancelled / rescheduled so maybe you’re ok since you’re flying a day earlier
  17. BA are a total shambles right now. Definitely not booking with them for next year.
  18. Yeah, BA cancelled both legs of mine but I managed to grab alternative flights on the same days (saw the emails in time).
  19. Caterina Barbieri, Arooj Aftab, Ambarchi / Sprenger / Sollmann and Angel Bat Dawid are all Auditori acts IMO.
  20. Yeah, there’s nothing near the Forum that’s under that price that I can find.
  21. You might want to post your arrival and departure dates.
  22. Re. Airbnb in Barcelona: If you are a host that wants to let a spare room in the property you live in then you can only do this for 30 days or more. if you are letting out an entire apartment then you can let it to tourists for short stays, but you must have a tourist licence. The licence number must be displayed on your adverts. Barcelona city council is cracking down on illegal holiday lettings. This is probably why lots of people are having their Airbnbs cancelled. https://www.airbnb.co.uk/help/article/862/cataluña-barcelona Beware of unlicensed properties: https://www.catalannews.com/business/item/spain-s-supreme-court-allows-airbnb-to-advertise-unlicensed-tourist-flats https://www.forbesindia.com/article/global-news/barcelona-takes-on-airbnb/70571/1
  23. Barcelona has a good night bus network. If you Google “Nitbus Barcelona” you’ll see the AMB website with routes and timetables. There are normally around 3 night buses per hour on most routes and they mostly go from Plaça de Catalunya. You can plan your route on Google maps as well.
