  1. If we're going to get 1/2 pop headliners ( and we are ) I guess she's one of the best available, surely better than Miley in my opinion. I don't mind her at all given the new PS artistic direction
  2. Try to contact the number you see on whatsapp. It’s a post on the primavera sound italy facebook group, apartment for up to 6 people, the woman who posted this couldn’t go so she’s trying to find someone that can replace her. Right now it looks like it’s still available
  3. Yeah GBV is the easy choice for me too, I don’t think we’ll get another chance to see Bob Pollard and his guys in Europe
  4. Guided by Voices vs Carcass vs Interpol 😢 😢
  5. The T4 tram runs all night long during the festival, so if you manage to get an airbnb close to one of its stop you're good; if you also want to be close to the centre the best spot is somewhere close to the "Glories" stop Anyway the festival is in the city, so there's no reason to stay in the centre, if you can find an airbnb in the Poblenou zone you'll be 15-20 minutes by foot away from Parc del Forum, and it's as safe as the centre If you really want to stay in the centre then I suggest you find an airbnb in Barrio Gotico and then walk to the T4 terminus ( 15 minutes by foot ) or take the L4 metro which is way closer ( Urquinaona stop ) but does not run all night long except on saturday and it's more crowded than the tram
  6. I'm from Florence. The concerts are in the city's biggest park; it's like our Central Park more or less, so you're really close to civilization. If you find them a hotel or airbnb in the right place they can get home walking in 10/15 minutes, they'll just follow the stream of people. There's nothing to do in the festival site, mostly because it is not a festival, it's more like a big gig; they have to get there early and just stand still all day I fear ahah.
  7. Wow I've just now noticed Jon Hassell, such a living legend. HOW did they got him to play is beyond me, he pretty much never plays live, not more than ten times in the last fifteen years I reckon. I highly recommend to check him out and don't miss in him at Auditori. Also Bliss Signal the new project of James Kelly from Altar of Plagues and Jack Adams ( Mumdance ) is great
  8. Here's the post that one of the bookers just posted on the FB group Primavera Sound Italia " So, this is Primavera Sound 2019. An expanding line-up with the passion for music as a common denominator. So proud of having such a big amount of unique performances, special projects, live premieres and not-commercial-at-all artists even being such a huge festival. Having in mind the huge amount of information, more than 200 artists, here are a few personal highlights (excluding headliners and more obvious names). -GUIDED BY VOICES -JAWBREAKER and JUNE OF 44 -STEREOLAB playing for the first time in 10 years -NAS -CHARLIE XCX, prove of how good pop should be done in 2018 -Legendary ambient musician JON HASSELL playing for the first time in 5 years. JOHN -One of my favourite jazz bands, THE NECKS. New jazz sensation SONS OF KEMET XL will also play the festival -Modular synthesizer pioneer SUZANNE CIANI will play using a quadrophonic sound system. CATERINA BARBIERI will play on the same day -Ambient totem TIM HECKER playing alongside the KONOYO ORCHESTRA. 9. Some embarassing names like Future and Cardi B, very happy about Solange though, even though the headliners are not impressing at all. The undercard is more than great; i have to read it better, but Built to Spill, Stereolab ( omg ), GBV, Primal Scream, Jarvis etc i also didn't expect Big Red Machine ( with both Bon Iver and The National touring ). FKA Twigs also, Apparat, Yves Tumor full band, Pusha T. I'm very happy. Sigrid is a great young pop singer. And there's much more
  10. never laughed so hard i'm loving it
  11. I guess something like lineup out at 8pm CET and then they'll talk about it ? We'll see, plenty of options on the table
  12. I can't believe we are getting Portishead and Pavement. Also Stephen is touring with the Jicks... and Sufjan would be too good too... then also Burial ? no way
