Yeah, SZA alone has way more monthly listeners on Spotify than all those headliners together. It's some cool headliners there, but not very 2024.

They have also explained that they changed the Mordor setup because of safety for the audience and it's easier to have bigger production, like the the extra stage stuff that Dua Lipa got.

Some general tips: - It's very easy to travel to the festival since it's very close to Tøyen and Carl Berner subway and in the middle of the city. So no need to live very close to the festival. Just live close to a subway station. - Eat a good meal before going to the festival, since the festival can be kinda expensive, but very good. - Remember to keep your glass after you're finished drinking, since it's will cose 20 NOK (around 2 euro) for a new glass. You will of course get a new glass when you delivering the old one. The glass is also nice to have if you want water. There is a lot of water station that's free and effective to use. - If it's raining, it will get muddy. So have some good footwear for rain and poncho/rain jacket, since it's not allowed with umbrellas. - The day before the festval (Tuesday), it's something that's called Klubbdagen. It's free for everyone with festival pass, and it's a lot of up and coming Norwegian acts that's playing venues around the city. The programme for that will come later. - The festival is finished at 23:00 (Norwegian rules), but there something called Øyanatt. This is also different concerts around the city, but this one with bigger artists/band and international ones. Nothing has been announched yet, but will come later. There is enterance fee for this concerts, but with a discount for you with festival pass. Normall costs around 175 NOK - 300 NOK for a concert, that can have more than one artist. Just ask if you have any questions! I live like a five minutes walk from the festival and been there a lot.

Øyafestivalen is even better. Has almost everthing that WOW has plus more depth and are missing one headliner.

Difficult task to choose just five, so I changed it to my favorite/memorable for each year: 2014: Cut Copy - My first Primavera, and what a memorable ending. 2015: Thee Oh Sees - At the Apolo. Also a very memorable ending of the festival. Amazing crowd and concert. 2016: Moderat - Got free drinks from the bar (someone just walked before they got the drink) and danced my ass off. 2017: Arcade Fire - The suprise set on the 360 stage. What a hype way to release the first single from the new album. 2018: Beach House - At the Primavera stage was so emotional. 2019: Channel Tres/Lizzo/Tierra Whack - Amazing row of great acts on a beach stage. 2022 (weekend 1): Fred again.. - They hype was real. 2022 (weekend 2): Jessie Ware - I think I've never seen the full crowd on Rayban dance, even people on the stairs. 2023: Turnstile - Finally got to see them. Amazing crowd, should have played a smaller stage.

The main festival is four days (7-10. August), but on Tuesday (6th) there is something called Klubbdagen (Club day). Around 15-20 venues in Oslo hosts concerts (mainly small Norweigan acts) that is free for everyone with a festival pass (not day pass).

With Vampire Weekend playing Thursday, it's a medium chance that we can see Ezra do Tonight with Phoenix on the day before.

Øyafestivalen is also a great festival and cheaper now (since the NOK is kinda weak now). Shares a lot of acts with Flow and Way Out West, and is in a park in the middle of Oslo. So it's kinda a smaller version of Primavera (but with no late show, since it has to end at 23:00). But there is also night concerts at venues around the city, that costs around 20 Euros. They will announce nine acts this week that has never played the festival. If you want to know more about it, just ask.

Justice has a new album coming next year (confirmed by Busy P: https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/justice-new-album-2024-tour-pedro-winter-ed-banger-1235352496/), so they will 100 % play more festivals next year. Also wrote "first concert in 2024" when they posted about the Primavera gig.

FKA twigs is exclusive for Primavera this summer. And Justice is definitely a Roskilde booking. Played there twice if I can remember correct.

The Smile playing Flow Festival (Finland) in August, so maybe they are just doing festivals in the late summer.
