me, I'll be surprised... because in 20 years I can't remember Jamiroquai on a Live Nation festie bill.

That might just be coincidence of course, but my take is that it's a theme.

Is Jamiroquai that big in 2018 to headline FIB? Even with this kind of a weak line-up.

I don’t see why Beni wouldn’t share an act or 2 with MC, just like with Foals last year.

I’m hoping on Tame Impala - they’ve been announced for Citadel as a UK exclusive, but I don’t believe they’re an exclusive to MC. They’ll be in Europe for more than just a couple of shows I would’ve thought.

There were a lot of rumours that they are peninsula exclusive

LG's stock has rose since last year, he didn't have solo album when he played Beni which has gone down pretty well, although I agree he is not a 'big' headliner, so hopefully there's still a big act to come if there are any left?!?

When was the 3rd announcement last year?

    Mid-March

Surely they will be following the previous trend by the 4th headliner being classed as dance. I've been thinking Jamiroquai could be a great shout whoever it was that mentioned that previously. Alternatively Daft Punk/The Chemical Brothers - I've always wanted to see the Chemical Brothers and saw Jamiroquai in Madrid last year so preference is one of them 2.

Chemicals ruled out - the play BBK and Low Festival in July.

I think it could be Florence + Jamiroquai, but prefer Libertines + Phonics or something like that.

I'd have thought the last headliner would be a HUGE act, seeing as there are two small, and one big but not exactly wowing headliner so far. Electronic act may be announced as a coheadliner with either LG or Travis whoever

Totally agree. But who do you consider as a huge act? Can't see anyone huge with possibility to play Beni.

Now, a press release announcing the The Libertines states that they have “commenced writing their fourth studio album” and that the LP is “scheduled to be released in summer 2018”.

Could be a decent last headliner.

But taking into account past FIB editions, last headliner should be electronic act, should't it?

    2 questions:

•roughly when do they do the next wave of announcements?

•is there any chance of snow patrol playing with them already booked for mad cool?

    - in the middle of march

    - I don't think there are big chanses that Snow Patrol will play Beni

Arctics headlined 2011 & 2013, and his stock has only grown since 2016. I just wouldn't rule it out, would be a the cheaper option than Eminem?

Hoping there is a good undercard of at least 15 bands

With them headlining Mad Cool and strong rumours about Primavera don't think there is a possibility for FIB to book AM.

Possibly because Mad Cool has taken a lot of the attention with its early announcements and insane line-up. Beni is itself in quite a similar position to last year in that they have announced one huge American band with an announcement to (probably) come later this month with quite a few names. There has been speculation though. Go back a few pages and you’ll find a lot of logical guesses and the odd leak. Personally I expect Eminem, Royal Blood, 2 Door as well as Chrvches and Miles Kane (last 2 are leaks). Few shouts for Lana del Rey and Bruno Mars (not sure if they’re still possible)

Well that leaked poster with Eminem, Lana etc was definitely fake. There was even a mistake in del Rey name. Bruno Mars has two solo shows in Spain in late June, so I guess he's also out from Beni.
