  1. The Smile will be playing on the 30th, Friday, as per their merch (poster, sorry for the bad quality)
  2. the second day looks a little barebones in comparison to the first one
  3. I think that despite the main stage's previous location being quite obviously better (as far as we can tell so far), I already had struggles last year with how packed it was. For instance, I could arrive at the main stage 5 minutes before a headliner plays and I'd manage a spot with nice visibility. That was just NOT the case last year. I can't recall the miniscule view I had for Gorillaz, all because I stayed and watched Grimes' DJ Set until its end. So, yeah. The organization can change the stages all it wants, for whatever reason. But last year's issue was never stage related, it's just that they made too many damn tickets available. This festival's charm, partly, is its breathing room, the relaxed nature of seeing multiple names with logistical ease. Last year I felt like I had to plan ahead a simple walk from the second biggest stage (Cupra? I forgot) to the main, otherwise I'd see next to nothing (I'm not that tall, so that's also a factor - I'm 5'6 / 172cm)
  4. I don't know if the metal bridge is a permanent addition, it kind of felt like it was there to cover up some damaged terrain, but I might be wrong (edit: nevermind, yeah it's there for this year) Space was indeed an issue last year. I can't quite tell how the new main stage compensates for that. I will miss the old ATP stage... I loved that place. It was so calming, especially late at night when you could just sit far back and enjoy it all.
  5. I'm not attending so I'm just stricking up conversation, but how do you all feel about this year's venue and stages' locations? I feel that it kinda misses the charm the festival had...
  6. Selling Full Festival ticket (DICE) for 140€, pm me if you’re interested
  7. I mean, I don't really care who's behind this, but it sure is taking a long time to announce anything. It's not like the festival is that much later in the year
  8. Arghhhhhhh after what seemed like a weak production I really don’t wanna have to go to kalorama for afx 😞
  9. +Tim Bernardes, Snail Mail, Yo La Tengo, Cátia Mazari Oliveira source: https://sicnoticias.pt/cultura/2023-03-08-As-novas-confirmacoes-para-o-festival-Vodafone-Paredes-de-Coura-63f9e69b?fbclid=IwAR0sytLLlo4Lurr5gj0og7d3hy7EKxepzw0MGEB5vDZ7suwG1BA0jOOF0XA
  10. doubt anyone who thinks like this would ever want to see them regardless of how long they went away for. just move on
  11. They did announce it but they squeezed that info alongside the first day being sold out. Genius communication and clarity, par for the course really https://www.instagram.com/p/CocfM5jLY80/
  12. Damn! All I wanted was The Walkmen, but their day really is a bit dry aside from Fever Ray. Ah well
  13. I'm not sure I get what you mean, you said first that you think it is a band and then implied an agreement to the possibility of Lorde
