There will be off-site options such as nearby campsites. We stayed in the local travelodge one year as our daughter was going through a phase not getting back to sleep if even the slightest noise disturbed her. It's not as good as staying onsite but it's way better than missing out altogether

Anyone know current rules around children in pre-erected tents? Used to be that a child under 12 was allowed to take the tent over capacity (e.g. 2 person scout would take 2 adults and child). This info hasn't been updated since 2014 though and can't see anything in any of the T&Cs? I’ve booked a 2 person scout tent, is it OK to share it between 3 people? Only if the third person is a child. The capacity of the 2 person scout tent is two adults, but they can accommodate one additional child aged 12 or under (when the Festival gates open on Wednesday 25th June, 2014) with their parents/guardians. One child is also allowed beyond the 4 person tent capacity.
