  1. In our 50s and we will be there so maybe not 🙂
  2. I dont want Justin but I think he will be a huge miss as they will not replace him with anyone decent and they will bump folk up. 1000 would be a decent price thats about £2.15 according to Google
  3. Well according to insta that's the line up full. I thought a few extra bands could have been added but as time went on I was not sure and it's been confirmed that's the line up full. I had a look and I can't see anything about Justin being confirmed for Europe from his team
  4. where did you get this. As for taken a guess at a replacement headliner I think there is little to no chance that the likes off metalica will replace Justin. If they do anything it will be another Pop act or as has been mentioned putting a new sub in and that would make more sense.
  5. https://welovebudapest.com/en/article/2021/6/16/budapest-the-chain-bridge-closes-for-18-months-boats-now-serve-the-two-riverbanks Boat will take you over or the person above has a good route
  6. From my apartment it is 4.1 miles there and 10 miles back after 12 pints 🙂 Maybe half that distance from the Island
  7. never walk its about 5 miles away. I have never bothered with a Taxi. The Boat takes 30 mins and the train about 15 mins. They both stop at the entry points and there is never much of a wait at Either apart from the first day. It will depend where on the Island you are staying. If you are at the south and have a city pass I would get the boat its so much more relaxing. The Train is also close enough. If you are nearer the north off the Island I would look into this as you maybe better getting a local bus. Also it will depend if you have a city pass as the boat costs more. Have a look into the buses
  8. It can get busy going from the tent to the main stage when the acts have finished but that just tends to be the busy nights and if there is anyone decent in the tent. Apart from that it's very well controlled . Going in the first day can be busy over the bridge but that's about it The bars are fine, the only time you wait is when the main act is on but even then it's not to bad. You pay be your wrist band so no waiting on change etc your lucky if you have to wait behind 1 or 2 folk. Leaving at night is fine and depends how your going home there is a wait for the boat but nothing huge There are plenty bars about. The only thing I would say Is.watch what you eat for the dust. Also get there early the first day to get your wrist band etc as that's the only busy day
  9. Thanks for this, I did think they may add a few names but as time goes by I am not sure the names will be anything to get excited about but I live in hope.
  10. I assume they will have plans in place and had talks with management companies. I am pretty confident he will be there Where did they say that's the line up filled?
  11. Say what you want Justin is huge and there are not many that will fill it like him. Cant be bothered myself but its a long way off and anyone could pull out with covid cases rising and anything happening I thought a few acts would be getting added at this point but the poster looks like it could be full and I am less optimistic that anyone classed as a larger act extra will be added. It may depend on Ticket sales and what dates are sold out or nearly full. I am not sure how many extra UK/IRE/US acts would bring non locals as most folk with have the flights, accommodation all booked so they may look at acts that appeal locally or to this area off Europe.
  12. I don't think it's a great line up, monkeys and dua lipa were on last time and it's not to my taste but it is what it is. I would rather the killer to KOL and someone diffenet to the other 2 but they will be a big pull. Justin has pulled a few dates but we are 9 weeks away from him playing so I think he will be fine. If not I will not lose any sleep
  13. I think I have managed the tribute acts once but all my friends loved it. I may need to try and stay sober this year 🤣 Anywho, when will the last acts, times and final line ups be announced. That's the festival season started in the UK and I can still see 3 half decent acts to be added
  14. I am a bit older so I have never been approched but I have been to other festivals and been offered. I have not seen or heard off a bit demand for it. Drink is that cheap maybe people just prefer that. More importantly when are the line ups coming
  15. I would think there are 3-4 names still to be announced for the main stage/A38 but this may depend on who they move to the different stages. If you look at clash finder there are a few gaps and I think the names will not be that big but we live in hope. We should know in the next few weeks.
  16. It's acts that are going into the night after 12. This happened before with their communication. They would be hard pushed to add a new act/headliner and call it the festival with just 12 weeks to go. I also fly back Tuesday so they better not 🤣
  17. There will be no more big name far less headliners. We will maybe see a few names for the tent or sub but I still think we may get 3 to 4 nanes that are known but nothing huge. I would love to see a few like Liam, wolf Alice, Kasabian but they are all sub levels We only have a few weeks at most to wait in my view.
  18. Does the 7 day pass cover the boat to the island?
  19. My only complaint if it's really that is about the festival is probably the food. It's maybe about the same price as here but compare that to the drink and it seems expensive. I found the food average but it can get dusty and I am not sure how clean it can be. The pizza is what I stuck too as it was always coming out the oven quick enough and about the cheapest . . If there are food places closer to camping use them as less dust when it's busy. For what you pay you would get a half decent meal in town.
  20. Our group are 20s,40s and 50s. I would say that its very mixed and you dont feel out off place. Same as the person above there are lots of air B&B's and hotels as its a massive city and I would recommend getting air con and on the tram line 2/4/5 . I have also got the Pass and its the best thing you can get however if your camping I am not sure and depends how many times or how you are getting to and from the airport. You get checked on public transport and the pass also gives you a voucher for the baths thats a must if you are not that hung over. The pass was a wrist band that done you and allows you to get the boat and the trams. If your not camping you will need it and it works out about 8 quid a day and 20 for the baths about UK prices to be fair and its a decent transport system. I was stopped about 4 times on the tram for checks and you just flash the wrist band. There is also week tickets you can buy but if you plan to do a baths and I would get the pass. I am not sure the week ticket covers the boat. It also allows you to and from the Airport but I come in about 2am so its a taxi to my apartment but you can get the tram to the airport. There are buses straight from the airport to the festival but I have never used them. Payments are by wrist band that you can top up via an app or there are machines on site you can do with cash or a card. It really is so easy and apart from the first day its not that hard or busy. If your camping this will be easier. There is a big LIdl/Aldi tent thing on site but I have never camped or stayed so dont know. to be fair so good luck The camping just looks a free for all They will announce transport closer to the time but it looked easy enough
  21. Liam was in the same night and I missed wolf Alice in the tent as they were stuck on at the same time. I just thought the same acts the same nights made me think it would not be him but you can't rule him out. Fingers crossed for him and wolf Alice but not the same night again 😂😂😂
  22. I think there is still a half decent name coming on the first night but as much as I would Liam I can't see it. We should know by mid April who the last names are.
  23. London Grammar are supporting Coldplay and I did not think they would be there but there is a gap that they could play. Kooks and wolf Alice but wolf Alice are supporting in Budapest only 4 weeks before so don't think so. I think Glass Animals could well be there as well as Fred. Does anyone remember when the full line up was announced as it's only 5 months
  24. If your looking at booking somewhere anywhere close to where the boats and tram line 5 are they go straight to the Island. The train is quicker but the boat gets you to a easier part off the Island to get into the Festival. This is either side off the bridge at Margret Island. The tram line 2 also connects to this and anywhere along the tram line 2 is also good. It is really easy to get to the festival and the only bad day is the first day with everyone getting passes and top ups on the payment system. I still think here will be another few names to be added, there are lots off bands about that could slot in. I think there will be very little in the name off big names on the Monday. That looks a strong day and I can see a Pop etc for the tent for non indie folk.
