  1. Fall out boy are big but I am not sure that thy would want the First name to be them. I am still edging towards Eminem. He would fit as a big fist name and we had a lack of rappers last year.
  2. Eminem is reported to be in β€œadvanced talks” to headline the iconic Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury next summer. The American rapper has never played at the festival before, but a β€˜festival insider’ claimed the organisers think the deal for June 2023 will be successful. They told The Sun: β€œEminem is wanted for a huge slot at Glastonbury and has been in talks for yonks. β€œHis dates all line-up and if they can get him on board, it will be the first time he has ever played at the festival. β€œEminem is one of the greatest rappers on the planet and to have him down on the farm would be incredible. Could well be thought its a name that would be banded about for years and nothing come of it
  3. There is not a chance they are going to come for one date with a break for about a month. Possibly One Republic who were announced for colours.
  4. When I said it was cheaper for djs that bands I was meaning that on average a DJ will be cheaper and I can see them booking a extra DJ and having 2 nights for a DJ. That link was interesting reading with the costs for bands. The dance tent was very busy and Alan Walker was scarry busy so was most nights compared to the A38. I did like fontains and inhaler my only complaint was that they were on the same day, wrong time and the same day as the Monkey's. They would have been a good alternative to Justin and Dua Lipa. Your right that it is about your own taste but I have preferred previous years and not having anything the first night was a disgrace and dangerous.
  5. For what its worth. I don’t think the surveys or forums make any difference what so ever. They will know on the previous year’s ticket sales on what is best and this will include Justin who just about sold out(I left after 4songs) They will book a mixture based on what sales and the costs rather than being a hip festival. They will get a few arena acts, a stadium act and one DJ act that they can pick 7 from that are big names but cheaper than a band. The A38 needs a huge improvement in my opinion. I am not sure on what the 6/3 day ticket sales are like compared to the day ones but they will also know who is touring and put a big act in every second day to sale the 6 day ones and slot in a few area acts like Kings and Tame in-between. This will get there 6/3 day ticket sales done as you are only paying a extra few quid for the days you may not want to see anyone. Drinks out with the Lager are far too expensive and they need to lower food prices as it was about 20 quid for a decent bit food. You could get a decent meal in town for that but they have you over a barrel if your hungry. I was fine on beer but the rest were on Vodka or Gin and it was not cheap at all. Toilets, colour and signs need updated band apart from that it was really good with a crap line up.
  6. See you soon from leaks but that could mean anything. They are always the last to announce anything. Maybe we will hear in October November time then in February again. Depeche Mode are about next year, I am not sure how much they would fit in but I would like them. Royal Blood, Dua Lipa and Muse maybe be announced for Leeds and they often have the same.headliners.
  7. You will need to wait as most Air B&Bs dont take bookings this far in advance. You will get somewhere no bother in a few months. Also a few hotels are coming in about Β£400 for the week on the normal sites. Even if you book them may email back that they are not taken bookings this far in advance. Just get anywhere on the main drag where the 4 or 6 tram goes there were loads in the last week this year. Noel or Kasabian would be a great shout, not that expensive and a good pull for the Ire/UK.
  8. Gorillaz - I hope not but could be, hopefully Blur rather than them, Taylor Swift - hopefully but I think she would be expensive, Harry Styles - still a good shout and also expensive. Arcade Fire -they could be out of Europe but I think there will be a band similar to that and I would like to see them play. Robbie could well play but I am not sure he is a big pull for the age demographics but he would be a good shout. Maybe we will have a Robbie and Liam co headliners πŸ˜‚ Guetta is as good a shout as any.
  9. https://dailynewshungary.com/no-more-volt-or-balaton-sound/ Just a little bit interesting reading for next year.
  10. 3 out of 16 not bad for me πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I still think Coldplay could play with the hint from Leaks.
  11. Posted August 24, 2021 Does anyone have any ideas on who will be playing. I have looked at a few bands floating about at the time. He are my thoughts before I get shot down. I see KOL, Killers, Foo’s and Metallica are about. I am not sure about the last 2 but I can see there is a gap between the killers and KOL before they return to the US so I can see one off them. A Big name.DJ or rapper but I can't see who is about. George Ezra is a good shout he is playing a gig in the UK and always a shout for a festival. Possibly Lewis Capaldi or Gerry Cinnomam . Looking at Mad Cool and a few other tours I would like to see Wolf Alice, Biffy, maybe Blossom, war on drugs, Royal Blood. editors and maybe a Gallagher again. I can see it being more pop acts but if I get a few off these I will be happy. I can also see a big name female artist like Dua but they may go for a different name and try and get Billy again. Dua was decent a few years ago and I would rather have her. August 22,2022 That was my first prediction last year and here goes for next year. I had a few right and along the lines off a few others but that was about it. 1. Coldplay-Do we think this means that they will be playing? They may have a few festivals after there dates and it looks like it could tie in. I think they will be a good shout and pull in a few folk to start with. I would like to see the line up a bit earlier this year but that's never going to happen. Leaks is really wrong so I am going with them as the first name out the hat. 2. Another band on the same level as KOL, not that expensive but fills a gap. RAM,RHCP,Green Day, Muse and lots more but too expensive but I live in hope. Probably more like Foals or Jack White 3. Female pop Act, I can’t see Florence again, it’s too soon and I know they done it for Dua I don't think she has the same pull. I am going for Billie or Katy Perry. I would love to see Lorde but she is not big enough. 4. Male pop act, Harry Styles will be a great pull. 5. DJ, SHM/David Guetta or Any the top DJ's doing the Saturday night. 6. I am going for a Rap act- Travis Scott or Kendrick again? Kasabian/Stormzy/Sam Fender? in the Mix? Under card could see anyone but there was a large Irish crowd and they filled the venues that had Fontaine’s and Inhaler so I can see one of them returning or even Snow Patrol. Possible- Poula Nutini, Blossom, Mable and so many more that could be playing
  12. If you look at the busy days this year it was Dua Lipa, Justin, Calvin and attic monkeys. I think it will be a few pop acts, not sure how big Olivia is the now but could be a shout next year. More likely to see Coldplay, the big band that appeals to a wide audience like Artic Monkeys. A DJ, Martin Gatrix or along those lines. Then a few pop acts, Harry would be good but I can't see it. I think it missed a rap act this year. Not sure on the budget but I will only be going if some decent acts get announced. My daughter wants to go back so just shows that you could put nearly anyone one up and it's about the festival rather than the acts
  13. Well here goes for my bit. I thought the AM blew me away and my highlight to the week. Calvin, Lewis, Milky Chance, Fontaine's, siigrid and Bastille were all great. Dua was decent it was just far too busy. Nokia mimmed most off her set and I seem a few others but nothing stuck out. I was gutted Sam Fender and Giant Rooks never played as I had been listening to them lots. Justin was boring and I left after 5 songs to go into town. Tami Impala sounded okay but it's not for me. The last night was the best AM and fontains and it also seemed quiet for such a good line up. The dust was horrific, it really was a health issue and I have been struggling to breath, the food was fine but covered in dust. The set up was fine for me and I normally get the boat so disappointed when the bridge was not done but if it gets a better band I am happy with it. Not sure I will be back and I will see what the line up is like. I am never sure saving 100 quid is worth the early bird tickets
  14. That was so much better last night, you could get a drink, walk about and piss where there was space. Nothing on I want to see today but the kids are buzzing for Justin.
  15. They had no one on in the tent so everyone was going to see her. Bad planning and they seemed to have narrowed the main stage as well. Very busy but milky chance were brilliant, meet one off the twins watching dua lipa and both were good. Overall a good day.
  16. I was not sure you can pay by card thought it was all wrists bands
  17. They pulled out weeks ago? Artic Monkeys play tonight so you will get a clue off the set list they will play.
  18. Any beer price lists up yet or is that going to be the big shock. That's normally up by now. When does the tran stop from the airport
  19. I can't remember any places that did not take cards. I have taken 180 sterling into huff but that's more than enough for 3 of us. Maybe taxis or some pubs but the ruin pubs/restaurants and shops I was in were using cards and that was 3 bloody years ago πŸ˜…
  20. Has anyone managed to get the App working
  21. Margarte Island baths is about 6 quid with the rates. Not much to it but perfect for lying about and a swim. The big baths which I would strongly recommend is 30 euros so again depends what your plans are Stan . . I would also recommend going into town one night before or after who you want to see and take In the ruins pubs.
  22. I got the pass as it gets you a free shot in a bath but with the exchange rates and unless your using the boat on a regular basis as I will be I am not sure it's worth it. .the rail card pass thing is about 20 euros. You can't use the boat and you need to get from the airport to where ever so it all depends on what your doing how long your staying. I only got one as everyone else has and they are getting the boat every day. If I was myself I would not get it, also where are you staying
  23. The busy night are the so called mega stars like Ed Sheeran and that then it's the ones that will attract the younger crowds who flock to it. I don't like the line up as I am older and would love to see more older bands but my kids can't wait to see the headliners and love the line up. Also it's not happened for a few years so maybe people are catching up with gigs and festivals Dua, Justin and Calvin will probably be the busiest nights. Give me Monday any day ☺️
  24. We just had a group chat on who to see. There is not much in the Tents for me and pretty disappointed in the line-up for more older bands, I remember seeing a few in the tent and a few others last thing and they were great. Wednesday- Rufus De soul -Dua Lipa Thursday – Rocks, Alice Merton, Bastille, KOL. Friday – Not a thing but everyone wants to see Justin:☹ Possibly Jungle but hopefully a night out in Budapest Saturday – Lewis and Calvin, must be a Scottish thing 😊 Sunday - Sigrid, anne-marie and Steve Akoi- not sure what I am going to do for 5 hours between them Monday - inhaler, Holly Humberstone, sam fender, arctic monkeys, fontaines and Elrow Tuesday- Have depression for a week and then remind myself how great it all was I have tried rufus and theysound good, so do rocks the first day at 5:00pm, With 4 weeks to go I am just glad it looks like its all happening
