  1. Toilets were a bit grim we thought. Saw some very full urinals and the one by the Samaritans was overflowing at one point. We got talking to some workers and they reckoned that some budgets have been cut this year, less free meals for workers, etc.
  2. I'd say we got away with that very lightly.
  3. Met Office forecast doesn't look too bad apart from a thunderstorm on Monday morning
  4. Late night dance sets in Far Out? We must have missed them unless you are on about EOTR Big Top? We spent a good few hours either Friday or Saturday night dancing to some great DJ sets in the Big Top last year. Maybe it's an early morning noise thing, EOTR arena is a bit more separated from the camping areas than GM and they kept the sides on the Big Top whereas GM seems to have made the decision to remove the sides post Covid at Far Out and Round the Twist. As a fan of dance music, I did find some of the DJing at Round the Twist a bit hit and miss. Surely as a DJ it's obvious when people aren't dancing and even more obvious when the tent is emptying. Time to break out a ketty banger, as my youngest would say.
  5. To add to the debate about kids and wagons, I know it's known as a family festival but if you were to rock up at 10pm with a wagon and a couple of sleeping kids to your local music venue to watch a gig, security would tell you to fuck off and most parents (people?) would think WTF. I'm not sure that simply being at a festival entitles families to keep their kids up way past the point of them needing sleep. Seems selfish to me. Also parents being oblivious to how annoying their kids are being. I was sat outside Far Out watching the screen when a little girl decides to start playing with her bubble wand but mostly spilling the bubble juice over me. It took her mum about a minute to realise what the kid was doing and tell her to move to a free patch of grass. The kid's name was Alexa which sort of made me chuckle.
  6. We didn't go in but it's fairly obvious the secret bar is behind Cock's Tail if anyone still looking
  7. WTF, just browsing the clashfinder and have seen Katie Price on Talking Shop/Last Laugh at 00:50 tonight. Might have to rethink Bicep 🤔😵‍💫
  8. Do we know who the special guests are yet?
  9. If anyone's waiting until 10 for the live in vehicles to open, they opened about 8 and you can get quite close to the showers
  10. Think you're right, the Walled Garden beer tent is more of a cider tent.
  11. @benaliCan you upload a pic of the map please bud?
  12. I'm out of the editor if anyone wants to jump in
  13. Just looked back at last year's thread and yes it was posted 745 Walled Garden Sunday special guest is apparently Squid. According to bloke in Lazarus Kane crowd who knows the drummer (who is here) https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/235206-green-man-2021/?do=findComment&comment=6215817
  14. I can't remember how I heard about squid last year but it was either on here or Twitter. I'm more inclined to think on here actually.
  15. Any weather watchers care to take a punt on a forecast for next week?
  16. Does anyone know what time live in vehicles can rock up on Thursday? I can see in the FAQ that the gates open for weekend tickets at 10am Thursday but that presumably is for wristbanding and access to the arena.
  17. https://clashfinder.com/s/gm2022/
  18. The two punter guys they kept on interviewing, the guy on the right is deffo related to Bez
  19. Oooh, tickets done gone landed in my inbox, getting excited now.
  20. I must have missed that bit thanks.
  21. Looks like the security are being a bit more serious this time, I got asked to finish up less than half a pint when to enter the arena. They didn't search me though. Good luck guys.
  22. Not seen the double decker bus before, that looks awesome, enjoy.
