  1. Yes! only just discovered them because of the B2B with Fred they did on lot radio. but yea big fan now!
  2. I didn’t know that. Fair enough.
  3. Glasto knew exactly what they were doing with wet leg though and they retained their spot?
  4. Probably posting this in the wrong thread. but a friend just saw vampire weekend post a pic of the other stage. And then 2 mins later it was deleted and they announced radio 1 big weekend. anyone actually catch the post?
  5. I have just checked our wristband collection. we were at boomtown 2018. It could possibly of been that year. Like I say. Anything boomtown related normally means little - to no recollection of events. Im gonna check the lineup for that year now if I can find it. thanks for the info 😁
  6. Can someone settle this debate with my wife before one of us is sleeping on the sofa tonight. heilung have they ever played boomtown. I have recollections of maybe a Thursday night many years ago. Stumbling into a tent. Everything was all very hazy. But it was very theatrical Lots of body paint. Naked bodies and stabbings on the stage with blood. a quick YouTube search of heilung, it looks very similar. But can anyone confirm it was heilung I saw many years ago at boomtown. Maybe 2017 or before. my misses is convinced it was Glastonbury we saw this act. But a quick search, I don’t think they’ve ever played glasto.
  7. Did you get any insight from other members without me reading everything? they were great at as the sub headliner for park in ‘22. But do you think they’d come back for a lower spot on other or pyramid?
  8. You’re the second person who didn’t recommend the trolly. It does seem an unnecessary burden, especially for us. It’s not like we are out for the whole day and he’ll be having naps in it etc. we were recommended a pram ‘out ‘n’ about’ which we are going to try and find second hand. good to know tent is ample. Did you take rugs or carpet for the floor, or did you find the floor it comes with suitable?
  9. It’s a stall owned by two of our friends. They say we have to work 6hrs per day. I think there will be 3 of us running the stall at any one time incase our little one does throw a tantrum and one of us is out back having to comfort. I mean the finer details I’m sure will be arranged there. But being our friends. They know the score, and are very understanding. my logic behind the working being a good thing, is I can’t see us managing a whole day at Glasto with little one anyway so having a good ‘base’ to go back to will be a godsend and that time will be spent running the stall. I’d honestly just be happy being able to nip out for a few hours a day with him. Or take him to a particular band he may recognise. power, cooking facilities and being able to take as much equipment in as we need also swayed our response to a yes. we are doing a warm up festival with our boy before glasto. Just to see how he gets on and maybe learn from some mistakes.
  10. Amazing thanks illl have a read!
  11. I’ve done a search but maybe I was not using the right key words so information was lacking. how many here have done the festival with young baby’s. we missed last year as we were unsuccessful for tickets. But have done every one since 2016 so we know what to expect festival wise. I’d be interested to know: •what you won’t leave home without •valuable lessons learnt over the years •what tent you have •sleeping arrangements •recommendations on trolleys we are very fortunate that we have been offered to work the festival this year which means we have some additional comforts. We will have power, cooking facilities, private pitch behind the stall etc etc. we also get a temporary car pass so we can drive everything, literally, to where we are camped so taking too much stuff is not an issue. Are there any other traders on here with families they bring? does anyone have any pictures of their set up from previous years? We are looking at a 4m bell tent with porch which we think will be ample.
  12. It’s a dj called father funk
  13. Too add, I can see half their set at glastonbury being leon bridges focused. I hope it's only a tune or two personally. Their own stuff is much more me.
  14. Khurangabin smashed it at ally pally! Would Deffo see again at glastonbury! They played all their own classics, and mashed it Up with some well known older classics. For example,David BowiE, let's dance. Sccoby snacks. So many more but can't remember as I'm ready for bed after a few too many drinks. Almost felt like a warm up for glastonbury. Seeing what was popular. Either way, hell of a show. Not to be missed
  15. Is anybody going to khurangabin tomorrow at ally pally? Absolutely buzzing to go, have wanted to see these guys for a few years now since I was introduced! When finishing out they were playing glastonbury it's almost a relief because there is now no pressure to see them there
  16. I guess this counts as a confirmation…
  17. When do they normally release the times and the E ticket for current coach tickets? i imagine 3 or so weeks before the departure day?
