  1. Well you could say the same about Kasabian then.
  2. Could say the same about Stormzy.
  3. Feel like you're both lowballing her a bit. Her debut was a huge success, think she's be high other or mid pyramid tbh.
  4. Oh Wonder on the Pyramid would be really weird. Rosalia ain’t playing The Park either, she’d get a bigger slot. Aitch is not the right kinda act for the WH. Few other things I don’t really agree with but they’re the three glaringly obvious ones to me.
  5. Glass Animals went from playing 5th Other in 2017 to 4th Other this year. Hardly flew up the lineup.
  6. I've put her high on The Park in my prediction for this very reason.
  7. 2015 was originally meant to be Foos, Kanye and Prince so that would have been 3 newbies as well, but yeah there does generally tend to be a returning headliner most years.
  8. Ivy, Pink + White and Nights are all gold as well though without being released as singles. There's really not much in it honestly. I know when Blonde was released it was considered quite obtuse in comparison to Channel Orange, but it's stood the test of time incredibly well and is just as popular as his debut. I agree that Thinkin Bout you and Lost are his two biggest songs, but then the rest of his top 5 are definitely from Blonde and they're massive massive songs.
  9. Look at the streaming numbers. Pretty much like for like. Both albums are UK platinum according to wikipedia.
  10. Blonde was just as big as Channel Orange.
  11. Big cult following. Think he'd only want to headline, but don't think Glastonbury will have him as a top choice at all so it's probably not going to happen. Not in the next few years, anyway.
  12. 13. I think my problem was that I’d already decided I was seeing Macca and Diana Ross before the set times were out. I almost didn’t really take note of who else was playing against them because I knew I was going to see them both. Then one day I realised how much fun I could have if I stayed at the Park on Saturday night, and I think while I was at the festival and had a good feel for the place it dawned on me that Caroline Polachek would be more enjoyable, but I stuck to my plan. Like you say, I’ll know better for next time now!
  14. Nothing major but I’ve got a couple. 1. Should have stayed at The Park after Big Thief for The Avalanches and Mitski and then watched the end of Macca from the back. One of my groups absolute idol is Macca so we ended up getting really close with her in the crowd movement between Noel and Macca, but I know I’d have had more fun staying at the Park. I ended up leaving Macca anyway as I couldn’t face sobering up at the front for over 2 hours. 2. Should have gone to see Caroline Polachek instead of Diana Ross. I think because it was my first Glasto I felt obliged to go to the legends slot (and Tbf I loved the idea of seeing Diana Ross), but it was obnoxiously busy and I’d have had much more fun at the Park.
  15. Well I am arguing that he won’t headline the Other.
  16. If anything I’d say Aitch is more realistic of the two. Fits the vibe. Obvs Capaldi is big but I feel he may have already peaked. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s somewhat under-billed compared to expectations. High Other/Mid pyramid.
  17. Capaldi and Aitch aren't headlining Other.
  18. What about The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Adele And Elton changing his dates has nothing to do with Glasto.
  19. Only been able to do gigs for one of those years though. I'm also imagining this as either a prelude to a new album/just as a new album has been released. It's also notable that she wasn't rebooked this year. Makes me think that a Pyramid deal has already been agreed for the near future.
  20. I meant Glastonbury and a couple other summer shows, and then a late 2023 tour. Something like what Kendrick has done this year.
  21. Regarding Dua touring extensively this year (which she is), that's largely due to covid pushing her tour back. Originally she'd have toured extensively in 2020/2021 and probably had 2022 as a quieter year to come back in 2023. But she obvs was forced to have a quieter 2020/2021, so I'm not sure she'll be looking to take a whole year off again. Really don't think her doing Glastonbury and then a late 2023 tour is out the question at all.
  22. Yeah but when it does I think it'll be more varied than Dave / Dua Lipa / Taylor Swift.
  23. Especially with Dave likely to get his shot around then too. They're not gonna have no rock headliners. Not this soon, anyway.
  24. Two female headliners isn’t a problem, but the lack of diversity in genre is. I think they’d try and space them out.
