Does the outlandish stuff involve removing the base to satisfy the failed planning app. But putting it straight back up again under a temp application? Heard that one yesterday as a possibility from someone local

I’m in the same camp the spider is now pretty meh. Bladdy cool the first couple of years and over hyped by everyone since. Standing under Pangea last year (which was the first I’d visited Arcadia for several years) gave me the same buzz that walking round the corner and seeing the Arcadia Spectacular did years ago. If it goes hopefully what ever replaces it in the future is unique.

The cafe in the interstage area used to be run by the folks that have the Hive Cafe on Burton Bradstock beach in Dorset and was lovely. Who ever has had the contract for the previous couple of years hasn’t been nearly as nice.

Not been to see it for a year or two but spent a while up there last week end

Great to see pics of him there and it’ll be great for those attending to get to see him around the place and to interact with him during WP I’ve said to friends before that in normal years the one thing that he has for some one of his age is tons of energy and in the normal years where Michaels here there and everywhere promo’s appearances events must go some way to keeping him younger than a lot of mid 80 year olds. Long May he continue.
