Upsizing my tent this year now that the other half is coming and managed to get one from Next for £35 less than Decathlon. Good use of the year’s council tax gap 😆.

We didn’t have anything like this at EE. Just the opportunity to enter a ballot to work at the festival.

I was on Three for my first festival and had shite reception. Most of my campmates on other networks had nowhere near as good reception as me last festival.

Worth sharing that I was recently abroad and had a foreign eSIM and UK eSIM live at the same time - absolutely nuked my iPhone 14 Pro battery. Suggest turning off whichever the worst signal is when you get to the farm.

It makes a huge amount of difference. If you were on EE you’d be guaranteed good connectivity for most of the weekend.

There isn’t a lot of cash floating around the business right now (it’s currently seeking £3bn savings) so you’re right that they probably made a poorer offer.

This is sort of surprising - it’s a massive decision and risk to change comms infrastructure supplier. I wonder if EE backed out of it to focus on other things.

We went on the 28th and got absolutely bloody drenched which meant we only got down to the stack of hay bales before we had to turn back! 😬

Nope they just had a break and downsized the festival by a third.

So long as you come from the West of the festival you’ll get west parking. Take the M4 and M5 then leave at Bridgwater through Street and Glastonbury.

Welcome @LivOctober 👋 The slower pace of Lorde's new album definitely isn't what most people are looking for in the evening. I really rated her Glastonbury 2017 performance, was staged really well and high energy. The current set is very driving to the beach.

Pretty sure they open the doors at 8pm but you can queue beforehand. Queues at 10pm might be hit and miss - depends on several factors. Sometimes you can get queues for a couple of hours and in that case it's usually just best to write it off for the night/go later on. Ultimately, don't try and go for a specific act and if you do, give it a couple of hours time ahead to guarantee entry.

If you're using the moustache for yourself then great, slip in and out as you'd like. In 2019 people would use a moustache to get in, then pass it through the fence and get a whole group in. That's not the spirit and meant people who genuinely wanted to see a set, not just for a look, were held in a queue.

Hopefully the re-entry system will be binned off. It's shite.
