Having been a good few times, last year is definitely the norm regarding toilets.

All years I have been before the toilets have been the best I've used at festivals, clean, toilet paper and sanitiser and rarely a queue except for busy times at the main stage.

Last year they not great, seemed like may turned up full from the previous event. They got better over the weekend. Lots of festivals struggled with toilets last year. Friends went to Camp Bestival and they said the same, the toilets last year put them off going again when previous years had been ok.

Lets hope everything returns to normal this year.

I've been a few times before as well so I'm confident you missed the word 'not' in your opening sentence! 😀

All focus now turns to BDs! Looking forward to quite a chilled one after Glastonbury, planning a lot less charging around and a lot more sitting down.

Yeah, looking forward to this year, decent line up

Yungblud bumped up somewhere more suitable for him - he drew almost a full tent against McCartney of all fucking people. He's got a new album out so it'll be mostly different songs.

Came here to say the same. Great set, amazing energy, would be very surprised if he doesn’t get a big slot next time round.

    3) This might be a post covid behavior change but the outskirts of most main stages were rammed but once you cleared it there was room near the stage so you had more space the nearer the stage you got.

This was really obvious from the high angle tv shots over the weekend. Break through the crowd crust and there was loads of room. Just look at Skunk Anansie’s set as an example

    Fleetmac Wood were.

My overseen rather than overheard was one of the aforementioned chair c**ts sitting in the middle of the Diana ross crowd, with people packed around him, and his phone out watching the bbc2 coverage of... Diana Ross

Some people don’t deserve their ticket!

i heard lily get introduced from my tent, but the reaction was so muted i wasn't sure she was actually there, for real. good to know the truth of it.

You should catch up with it. BBC have cut it from their footage but it’s on YouTube. A great moment & very appropriate song!

Love seeing the flags. You can’t see the band on the stage that well anyway, even from the pit on the Pyramid. The bands love them and the BBC love them. Also have you noticed how you get more crowd shots as soon as a few go up on shoulders; they love it for tv.

Was it just me or was the screen quality absolutely incredibly High Def this year…so, so clear.

The UHD from the pyramid streaming was amazing

Didn't realise BBC decided to censor Olivia Rodrigo's performance and cut out the whole speech/song with Lily Allen from the set uploaded to iplayer, pretty spineless of them

Defo cut, i went looking for it earlier. Found it on YouTube though, absolute genius moment

Weirdly I think heavier acts have better behaved crowds: Turnstile and Amyl & the sniffers had great crowds, boisterous but friendly - pats on shoulders, helping each other up, respectful and decent from young to old (me!).

Agree with this, it’s the same at an Idles gig

That acoustic guitar was in the crowd for Turnstile too, at one point the singer crowd surfed and grabbed it for a bit, legend.

I have zero beef with the flags.

He was also at Idles plus somewhere else I forget!

The funny thing is we were in front of the sound desk for Years and Years and there was tons of room.

This was obvious from the tv coverage. Same for Skunk Anansie, loads of room

We got in to the pit for Macca and some people had been camping out against the barrier at the back of it all day. Had the best view in the house. Then it turned out that a bunch of photographers who normally stand in the walkway behind the pit had been told they couldn’t operate there anymore, and proceeded to hop the fence in to the pit and station there with massive cameras. Poor folks who had been there all day now stood behind blokes with the biggest cameras in the world standing on those little step things 😂 brutal.

Yeah, that is harsh! Can’t believe it didn’t kick off! If I had a flag, I’d have bought it down to head height and waved it in front of the cameras until they fecked off!
