  1. And the resignations have begun. Pass the popcorn this is going to be fun.
  2. They’ve gone full George Orwell with this one. Will the Tories make it till Christmas.
  3. Lots of important meetings he was either away for or couldn’t be bothered attending as he thought it was just the flu. I’m wondering why the government didn’t act regardless. He is clearly an idiot so why wait for him to get his act together.
  4. Are you watching the same thing? He literally said if he looked at the data he was given then he would have acted differently
  5. Hope you’re all watching Spaffer at the enquiry. To say he is out of his depth is an understatement
  6. I hear there’s a sphere needing a new home after it’s London planning permission was refused.
  7. Is the Sea King actually happening? I’m imagining spinning rotors with flames. Don’t tell HSE.
  8. As a Northerner who grew up in Thatchers era I’ve witnessed firsthand the effects of the mines being shut not that long after the closure of the mills She is a hated figure up here still but she knew changes had to be made, the mining era had to end at some point. My city changed from being a centre of the wool trade to a telecoms hub in the 80s The old mining towns are still feeling the effects even though they’re now becoming commuter hubs for those working in the city. It’s only the older generations still being bitter.
  9. The longer they delay the more money can be shuffled out of the countries cash reserves and into their offshore accounts
  10. It doesn’t end until one side doesn’t exist anymore. There’s more chance of walking on Mars than peace in that region.
  11. It gets worse. Today really is a tough day for famous deaths. RIP Sticky Vicky https://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-67564925
  12. Not heard of her before. I’m guessing she’s the government appointed scapegoat for the care homes mistakes.
  13. Wait till the oil reserves are confirmed. The Americans will be claiming full ownership
  14. Are you needing some therapy? I can sit and listen to your problems over a pint.
  15. It’s normally the Lancastrians messing with pigs. They must be doing something weird with them to end up with curly sausages.
  16. Is this the new Chinese pneumonia epidemic?
  17. Anyway, that fraction of your wage that you’re saving with the reduced NI contribution will be going on the energy price cap rise.
  18. The NHS trusts will when their budgets are cut even more.
  19. I’m a massive believer in science and what can be physically proven. People seeing ghosts and things that aren’t there must down to imbalances in their brains. There’s nothing in physics that can make something appear or do something supernaturally. Your brain however can make you think you’ve seen something. My brain is always playing tricks on me due to my illness, I get huge Deja vu moments all the time. I’m always thinking I’ve seen something before or remembering thinking about something before it happens so I wonder did I actually see the future or is my mind just getting reality confused with memories. As the great Morpheus said, “your mind makes it real” even if it’s not.
  20. @eFestivals loving the timing of this advert on the bottom of the page. Almost as if the algorithm knows
  21. Not sure how this all disabled people must go back to work thing will work. Not all disabilities are physical. While some would love the opportunity to be able to work from a home office it’s not suitable for everyone. What about those affected by brain disorders? I know I’d struggle to get another job if I needed to get one. I get given a lot of slack at my work and a lot of support to help me work. It’s only as I have a lot of knowledge in a niche industry that I’m still able to work. My skills can be transferred to other industries but I’ll be bottom of a very large pile when it comes to applications. Going onto disability was going to be my fall back in plan if I ended up losing my job.
  22. I heard talk of something like that last year but it needs a critical mass of users before it’s actually effective. Not sure if it went anywhere. The tried and tested method is spotting a friend in a silly hat that lights up.
  23. The breakfast cooked by my Scottish ex mother in law has put more than one person in hospital.
  24. They couldn’t even win a war against Emus so don’t worry about their opinions. 😂
