  1. I dont think there is a question that the tent will be renamed now. It would be impossible not to. He was pretty close to admitting rape as a child under 13 can never consent. Strange how this has all just blown up now. It is like it was a revelation just this week.
  2. Get that bottle on Ebay ASAP
  3. 1. If you are a family with three phones and need them to meet up, take 2 x 20'000 Anker power banks. Just one got us until Saturday and I'd rather pay another £20 before the festival than lose all that time queueing in the EE recharge place. Or worse still, buy one of those ghastly 5'000 EE ones that you are supposed to be able to swap, only to find they have none left. 2. Make sure your phone (or your festival phone) is with EE. Signal and data was amazing. Phone on O2 would hardly ever work (signal or data)

First timer question. What wristband were people showing to take the shortcut down the hill from the campervan fields where everyone else was being directed down the longer side at busy times?
  5. Diana Ross for me. Far too quiet. Probably where I was stood though. I found Glasto stages so much quieter than other festivals. I'm a bit weird and want my ears to hurt. Hate hearing other people's conversations!
  6. I totally wasn't prepared for those stones. I know everyone was banging on about wearing hiking boots vs trainers but I thought that was for comfort, not to keep my feet safe! Some of them genuinely hurt!
  7. Amazing place and experience. Despite arriving Tuesday, there are areas that I simply didn't get to. I can see why people go back and back just to experience the things they missed last time. Not enough time to do everything that is on offer! If you suffer from FOMO, this festival is a nightmare! So friendly, even when the crowds became dangerous a few times, everybody seemed to keep their cool when in other places, heads would have been falling off. Only managed about 3 full sets but that is partly my fault as if it was busy at a stage, I wont push forwards and I just cant enjoy a set if I cant see it properly or hear it properly. That leads me to a negative, many acts were in very small venues for their popularity. I think I know why that was but still it was gutting not to be able to see someone you had hoped as you just couldnt get near. I think if you have your heart set on somebody, you need to eat, drink, use the toilet and aim to get there at least an hour before they start. That could therefore mean that with travelling time, you need to be thinking about that set up to 2 hours before! Crazy. I have to say, I was a little disappointed in the sound quality/volume from the stages compared to say at Rock Werchter. I may have been standing in the wrong places. I brought ear defenders for our 5yr old but didn't need them once despite being close sometimes. Need to change from O2 to EE as had no signal or data pretty much the whole time. Cash is better than card. Most traders preferred cash as their wifi devices went down most of the time! I wasnt prepared for the big rocks and sharp stones eve'rywhere I walked either! Defo walking boots next time. Final thought? Biggest, busiest but most importantly, best festival I have ever been to.
  8. And I reckon Sam Fender will be this year's George Ezra. No matter what style of music people seemed to be into, whenever I watched a vlog from 2019, they all seemed to go and watch George Ezra!
  9. Chaise Longue or Seventeen Going Under. And if they're not the promo music, I expect the performance of these tracks will be played....and played....and re-played on every single highlights montage.
  10. My trailer tent. It'll be a Mezcal one too 😃
  11. Its £50 to watch Keane in Delamere Forest. No brainer this.
  12. 🤣 Just spent an hour reading that, wondering why the recommendations are no longer in stock anywhere, to get to the end and see that it was from 2011!
  13. I'm gonna be honest here, whilst it is educational and of massive cultural significance, I'm bringing the kids (12 and 5) because a) They'll have a boss time, b) They're a good laugh to be around, and c) The 12yr old will look after the 5yr old while I go and watch Patrick Topping b2b Eats Everything.
  14. Liverpool! Cant wait to meet people from all over the place!
  15. You should only be allowed to buy 2 x tickets and then not be allowed to get back through to purchase any further.
