  1. 2024? Did you mean 2014? Could be that your details have been deleted for being dated. If you are eligible to try for tickets you should have received an email within the last 4 weeks or so advising of your eligibility and reminding you of your registration details.
  2. Try contacting See. If may be able to book you a return.

    Coach tickets

From London there will be numerous coach options and you will need to pick a day (Weds or Thurs) and the time. The options will diminish as the coaches are filled.

    Campervan tickets

Look out for an announcement on the GF website. Sale is normally soon after general sale. Either same day or within the following 8 days. They are easier to get than GA tickets but peeps do miss out.
  5. Since the exact circumstances of the OP are unknown and the published guidance relates only to those purchasing general admission tickets then perhaps the best recourse would be for the hospitality ticket holder to direct an enquiry through the ticket provider.
  6. The infrastructure to ensure the worker can perform the job, including a PA, if required.
  7. I agree it's not impossible but then doesn't it become the responsibility of the employer under disability employment law 🤔
  8. https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/access-information/pa-2-for-1-ticket-scheme/ Very much doubt it from a read of the rules concerning PA tickets (see above link). The scheme is designed to help those with qualifying disabilities attend the festival. Put it another way......why would a hospitality worker require a PA 🤔

    Campervan tickets

Campervan tickets are printed with the registration number of the festival ticket holder and are both checked at the entry gate to the campervan fields: viz the festival ticket holder needs to arrive with the van. Unwanted campervan tickets should be returned for refund.

It really is down to the stewards on duty at the entry gate when you arrive. If they feel you're too big they will direct your van to the Showground. In the past I've also seen large vans turned away because of the ground being too boggy. Tbh you're pushing it as you do really need to be inside 8m. You will loose the argument with any picky steward.

    Coach tickets

@Clarence Clemons Note: If the coach is sold out with adult festival goers additional seats for children will not be available.
  12. They definitely aren't let in. A friend who's worked the entry gates for numerous years likes to regale with her tales of catching and ejecting chancers.

    Campervan tickets

Never seen a large caravan and large campervan parked up side by side in an allotted space. The norm obviously is caravan + car or camper + car, and quite often tents. Ultimately it will be stewards on duty when you arrive who will be the arbiter and if they decide your combo is too big or not permited they will turn you away to the Bath & West Showground.
  14. If you cancel your tickets at any time up to the date they become non-refundable (normally a date in early May) you will have to pay the admin fee on each ticket refunded. Regarding campervan tickets, there is normally a scrum for them when they go on sale and people do miss out. However there are usually several resales at later dates which satisfy most people. Finally, several private sites provide camping, caravan and campervan sites for festival goers.

    Campervan tickets

Probably only 1 campervan ticket since the camper would be towing the caravan, however if the combo is more than 8m long it may be considered as oversized camping unit In all previous years oversize campers have been made to use the Bath & West Showground.
  16. My fear is the full impact of rising prices/inflation will have a significant consequence for the entertainment industry as we have still a long way to go with disposable incomes being squeezed. When it comes to mortgages, rents and fuel bills etc the rises have only just begun 🙁
  17. One of our circle won't be going this year simply because they've changed jobs and no longer get the time off work to go. For others interest seems to be waning as they'd rather spend what money they have on a holiday.... We will be trying for tickets though.

    Coach tickets

Work on the assumption that missing your coach means you won't get your ticket and therefore won't get in. So if you don't think you can stick to going by coach you need to get general tickets.
  19. Its not the increase in price which, for many, will influence the ticket buying decision. It's the large increases elsewhere which are drastically shrinking the disposable income for non-essentials and luxuries.
  20. The admin fee charged in refunding a cancelled booking or not following through with the balance payment after the deposit has always been significantly higher than the booking fee. Seem to recall the admin fee was £20 In 2017
  21. Being paywalled is the the biggest issue for most of the commercial alternatives. Introduce pay to view and the audience is immediately cut. This has knock on effects for the festival in its' publicity, band publicity and attracting future festival goers.

    Campervan tickets

GF allow converted live in vehicles as well as "coach-builds". It's not draconian to provide guidance on what constitutes a conversation. GF could well have different rules for paying customers and staff. The former would come under public liability whilst the latter would be employee liability.

    Campervan tickets

Probably all stems from the licensing agreement between the festival and local authority. This will set out a framework to which the festival must comply, including rules & regulation.

    General sale

For budgeting also need factor in admin fee (£5 per ticket), a parking pass (if travelling by car - £50) plus postage ca. £8. If purchasing as a group and travelling together in one car the parking & post are shared expenses. .....then there's the 🍺 budget!
  25. JPT will always be overcrowded whenever popular bands play and where ever you put it. Always has bèen since the day it first emerged. It's the nature of the beast.......It's a tent!
