  1. Opposite end of the festival season but could anyone appear from here? The Hives, Tom Walker, Black Honey, or even Two Door as a headliner?
  2. Given their recent tour announcement in the US, Stevie Nicks could be a possibility. I think Tom Odell is also pretty likely, perhaps Don McLean too
  3. I second this. Every festival announcement I’ve seen so far has been weak for next year and quite repetitive. There just doesn’t seem to be an awful lot of available artists next year
  4. First wave for Victorious, on the same weekend
  5. Interesting there’s been no acknowledgement from BST. Is this a standalone show rather than a BST show?
  6. In terms of undercard who are we thinking? Personally I could see Tom Grennan, Circa Waves, Tom Odell, The Snuts, The Amazons, Mini Webb, Razorlight, Kaiser Chiefs and Tom Walker all appearing. As for headliners Kasabian, Noel Gallagher, and perhaps a curveball of Dermot Kennedy. Headlined Electric Picnic in Ireland alongside Arctic Monkeys and Tame Impala. Obviously his stock isn’t as high in the UK, but an Arena Tour and a Number 1 album could put him in the running
  7. Taken a bit of time to reflect on this and I’m disappointed, especially given the amount of the undercard that were at Victorious last year… Sugababes, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Anne-Marie, Sam Ryder, Scouting For Girls, Example & The Reytons were all there last year!
  8. Hey guys, I hope you all enjoyed the weekend as much as I did. I was lucky enough to review the festival for When The Horn Blows. If anyone has a minute to give it a read the link is here! https://whenthehornblows.com/content/2022/9/3/festival-review-victorious-festival-2022
  9. Have an awesome time everyone!
  10. I think a good chunk will try and see the start of Sam Fender, and then rush to catch Anne-Marie, before getting back to Sam just in time to see Seventeen Going Under
  11. For me it’s: The K’s > Sugababes > dodie > We Are Scientists > Inhaler > WorryWorry > Declan McKenna > The Wombats > Paolo Nutini Harvey Jay Dodgson > Example > The Reytons > Alfie Templeman > Editors > Amy Macdonald > Becky Hill > Nothing But Thieves > Sam Fender
  12. Clashfinder is all updated! https://clashfinder.com/s/vic2022/
  13. Example moved from the Dance Stage to now clashing with The Libertines has caught me off guard
  14. Gutted The Blue Stones have pulled out, but Swim Deep are a decent replacement. I hope it doesn’t become a recurring theme of bands pulling out

  16. Just been updating the clashfinder, and I’ve gotta say the clash between Editors and Embrace seems bizarre?
  17. And sure enough Crystal Tides are on the Beats & Swing stage!
  18. I know there’s rumours the seaside stage is gone but I can’t see another spot that Hot Chip or Andy C fit in to, especially with Hot Chip being listed as a ‘Megamix’ as for Turin Brakes, given their placing on the poster, it seems to lineup with an Acoustic headline slot. Again though, this is purely guesswork so I could be completely wrong
  19. That was me messing around. Purely guess work so don’t read too much into it but hopefully it isn’t too far off the real thing
  20. Updated the Spotify Playlist with the new names. Surprise to hear the Gavin and Stacey theme song when listening to Stephen Fretwell!
  21. I second this. Going to see them tonight in Brighton, would definitely recommend to anyone into Royal Blood/The White Stripes
  22. I really hope not. Personally, Sam Fender and Nothing But Thieves are two of my absolute favourite artists at the moment, the thought of them clashing is terrifying. But I’m sure I’m not alone and that there’s a lot of crossover in the two fanbases. Surely from past years it could be a slightly more nostalgic act. Maybe Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott?
  23. Looking back at last years clashfinder I reckon it was Crystal Tides. They’re a Portsmouth band as well, and I saw them at this tiny indoor festival at the Wedgewood Rooms called Golden Touch. There’s something amazing about discovering new music you’ve never heard of before you hear it live. A band I’m really hoping make an appearance are The Royston Club. Again they were at Golden Touch and I’m hoping they become massive because they are class
  24. Made a little playlist of the lineup following the announcement! Absolutely made up with it so far, definitely check out some of lower bands like Alfie Templeman, Turin Brakes and Tamzene https://open.spotify.com/playlist/452T7UtDT1WmuCIVrVESSD?si=do3YlSLdTECyFT1NEQaSDQ
