Yeah its gunna be thousands for sure. I'm a bit worried about it but hopefully it goes smoothly. I'm not sure if I should try to show up earlier than usual on the Wednesday or if that's when it'll be busiest. They'll definitely know how many tickets they're holding so hopefully they'll be prepared

Am I right in thinking that there's a local bus I can grab on the Wednesday if I stay in Wells? Is it fairly easy to get on and where does it leave from? Same questions for Bristol, it looks like there's a local bus I grab to get to Glastonbury town that doesn't have to be pre booked? I'm flying into Bristol Airport on the Tuesday and trying to figure out where would be easiest to stay/get the bus from on Weds.

The last 3 years I've gotten the train, but as I'm a late riser, I don't end up getting in line til around 11am which results in 4hrs waiting in the queue to get the shuttle to the train. It's a pretty painful process. I'm wondering if the coach is any better? It looks like it's over double the price if I try to book with national express. Any other options?

My first two doses were about 2.3 months apart, but I haven't had a booster yet. Should be fairly easy for me to get one. I just don't want to have to mess around getting tests! I'm planning to go beforehand... post festival would be nice but I think it would be a bit of a waste as I'm usually a bag of shit for a whole week after the festival 😅

Man I'm doing so bad this year, I have literally nothing planned except having my ticket... but I just booked my flight from London to Calgary on the Tuesday, so I'm definitely coming. Now I've just got to sort out where I'm going before, my flight there, my flight to London, my travel to the festival and where I'm staying on the Monday. Easy.

I was hoping for south of France... it was dating I'd need three vaccines all within 9 months, and I've only had 2 and they were one dose Moderna one dose Pfizer. I can't seem to see it saying that anywhere today, it just says "fully vaccinated" without being specific on what that entails. I still haven't booked yet but was wanting to tonight... should I just go for it and hope they let me through?

I haven't booked my flights even yet.. I usually have all this done months ago but I want to go to somewhere in the EU before and hoping the rules will change, but now it's getting too close and I need to make decisions. Been pretty depressed for a while now and trying to remind myself that I want this badly I think im going to try to not be in London on the Tuesday... but I haven't made my plans yet. I found it was easier getting the bus out of Glastonbury town last year... but this year with the will-call lineup I wonder if that's even worth doing. Too many unknowns right now, I need to sort my shit out. I'd be keen to meet up on site for a pint the Weds or Thursday though, or Tuesday in London if I end up staying there.

I bought a new pair of wellies last week spent a few hours wearing them around the house to test out walkability. I think im gunna take em back and risk it with my leather waterproof walking boots and my waterproof sneakers.

Seems like a lot of success! I was trying for @clarkete and once I got through, selected departure, tried to proceed but it bumped me back to the reg screen saying those reg#s had already scored tickets! I kept trying for various people on the spreadsheet with the same result! So I didn't get any tickets only because someone else kept beating me to the punch!

All my most memorable days have been Sundays. Something about the last day, beat down, torn, and ready to milk every last second.

I CAN tell you about the first time I tried to get in. It was my first year, 2016, the year of the mud, and I had also heard about the carrot thing. I was up by John Peel on the Saturday and I look down into the mud and for some reason there's an enormous carrot sticking out of it. Obviously taking it as a sign, my friends think I'm absolutely insane when I pluck it out of the mud, clean it off with baby wipes, and put it in my backpack. On the Sunday I have a bit of a row with one of my friends and decide to go off on my own....time to use my giant carrot I've been carrying around for 2 days. Turns out it was the wrong type of carrot? I did queue up and go in anyways, as the way to shangri-la was shut (which is why I ended up in the park anyways). The next year I also brought the carrots with the green tops, but I never ended up giving them a go, so I'm not sure on that one either.

There's definitely ways in that involve skipping the queue. It's honestly the most magical of stories that I have from Glastonbury, but also the only one I don't tell 😅🤫

The whole thing is so magical the first time you can't go wrong. The woods up by John peel is pretty cool. But my #1 has got to be the rabbit hole, if you're into late night stuff. God I love it in there, just a weird kind of magic.
