  1. Ignore him, he's always doing this - attention seeking 😂😂😂
  2. I think they are also in W Holts (or were in 2017) and they were also in the Green Fields in 2019 where both choices were certainly veggie if not vegan.
  3. https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/16002681/vango-sherpa-70-80-rucksack-16002681 I've got one of these which has done several festivals including Glastonbury by coach. I would recommend that you go to the store and try it out as it needs to be comfortable as you trudge from Gate A to wherever you're camping - Go Outdoors were very helpful.
  4. It's looking grim down south this morning.
  5. Going to miss Ghandis Flip Flop though 😞
  6. If there was more info it might make the shit places up their game.
  7. Vehicles down by the crane. It will be sad to see it go.
  8. Is this what you're after? https://www.tievolu.co.uk/glasto/GlastoWebcamTool.html#
  9. As with everything at Glastonbury (you will find this out) there are no right and wrong answers. However; Read Torts guide - link in post above. If you're coming by coach then you will enter at Gate A which is next to the coach station, so no big trek at this point. You can choose to stay in those first fields you come into and you'll be perfectly fine, I've always camped in Darble, and it avoids a trek not only on the day you arrive but on the Monday morning when you are f***ed. Those fields are fairly quiet though, so if you want more of a party atmosphere then head on down towards the fields around Arcadia. These do fill up pretty quickly so you'll need to be there mid morning Wednesday for a good spot. There is metal trackway down to walk along but I'd make sure that you can tramp for a good half hour with your backpack on before the festival. Alternatively, when you come in Gate A you can turn left and head towards those fields to the north of the site which are handier for John Peel and Pyramid. If you can split your luggage, then once you're through the gate you can drop some off at the Property Lockup in Darble and come back for it later. They are free to use (a donation is appreciated as they are run by charities) and will take anything. Take a photo of your ticket in case you lose it. You could maybe take something like a sack barrow on the coach which would help if it's sturdy enough - perhaps others could advise on the feasibility of this but I'm sure I've seen them on the coach. When you have finally pitched your tent, introduce yourself to your neighbours and then make sure you know pretty much where it is because when you come back to it, it will probably be dark and you'll be knackered and/or otherwise. Come back on here if you have more questions and have a great first festival.
  10. It was about 4:30 but as @incident says, I don't think there is a pattern. Best of luck and don't give up, in 2019 I know somebody who got a place the week before the festival.
  11. Well whoever it is they're back up there but I'm going to take @Claire0406's word for it that they are not putting the fence up and go and do some work!!
  12. For anybody still looking for an Oxfam place don't give up. I know somebody who randomly logged in last Friday and a place was there - he's now going.
  13. B&W will be open from noon on Tuesday but you can't get onto the main site until the gates open on Wed. A shuttle bus runs between B&W and Gate A every 15-20 mins. Make sure that you are familiar with the pass out system when you first go back to the caravan - stewards are really friendly and will explain it to you. You can take your own booze anywhere on site as long as it's not in glass bottles. Also no glass allowed in the caravan either. You can also leave your booze, and anything else - warm clothes, waterproofs etc, - at the Property Lockups (free to use but a donation is appreciated as they are run by charities) to save you carrying it around site all day as you won't really want to be going back to the caravan. Take a photo of your lockup ticket in case you lose it. Have a great time.
  14. Clearly that's what I meant but if you feel the need to take a pointless pot shot at a band then go ahead.
  15. I expect Yard Act to be this years Fontaines DC.
  16. Bunkabins were spotted arriving on the back of a lorry in 2019 but I don't think we ever saw where they went, so probably just a location change.
  17. Another laydown/parking area being constructed to the right, previously these areas have been cut for silage before the trackway goes in, so they are sacrificing grass. Screen towers are up over a month earlier than 2019. So with that, more equipment being bought in and the screen towers have been beefed up - has to be a major upgrade to the screens?
  18. 2019 it was first spotted on May 10th but as we can see less than half of the fence on the webcam it sort of depends where they start.
  19. Sorry!! Hangs head in shame at appalling maths skills
  20. Don't spend all your time together in your group - go off on your own, have a wander and get lost, you'll stumble across something amazing & unexpected. Don't spend al your time at the main stages and see at least one thing in the Theatre & Circus area. Talk to random strangers, everybody is really friendly. Come to the eFest meet You will have a great time.
