I agree I dont see an emphasis on prestige. Although the 50th anniversary ship may have sailed... this years festival back after all this nonsense is massive celebration in and of itself. I expect them to try make it a special one.

I caught this as it happened purely by chance walking up to the food trucks at the top of the field. Even though I think Dave's music is shite I thought this was brilliant. The young lad was a better performer than Dave 😄 haha seriously though the joy on the lads face was brilliant and even I stayed to listen to the song.

A lot has changed since he left. He now has countless connections, musical, commercial and ministerial. I think he can help them in all aspects. I would not be surprised to see some sponsorship creep in in some form or fashion after the loses suffered. Just speculation and my thinking of course.

Well there is precedent for it... and this is a very unusual year. They have no worries about people paying balances whether there is a poster or not. I really hope there is a poster before the balance deadline, just dont think there will be.

Lets be honest the next announcement is only going to be one of the headliners. We have a long wait for the first poster I think... my prediction is late March.

Personally I think by the end of June there will likely only be an LFT needed if anything at all. As the push for it to be endemic goes forward there will be less and less restrictions or requirements. Melvin has come in to facilitate any requirements that may be needed, as we all know this Virus can throw curveballs and Glastonbury would cease to exist if it was cancelled this year. Their Equity was 6m pre pandemic and they lost 3m of that so far. I also think hes been brought in to try make them some money after that 3.1m loss... I just hope it doesnt mean more commercialisation. We could see a couple of Co-Ops pop up and a couple of sponsorships...
