  7. Sigh, and it was going so well. In my opinion shows the right decision was made to wait two weeks to see whether this impacts on serious cases in hospitals. Whatever your comfort level is, I feel this is the end game with the Delta variant being some end of game boss. On the plus side another 0 death day.

  12. But imagine how emotional it would be for them? A potential Elbow moment awaits, especially after seeing how nervous/giddy they were on the live Glastonbury event.

  14. It is but the other nations will be on the same timetable i reckon. End of August is announced but mid August it will happen is my prediction. School children offered the jab after summer holidays
  15. The line is they are pausing for 2 weeks to get more data on the Indian variant, and review things every 3 weeks exactly for the reasons you just outlined. I watched the whole announcement along with all the after questions. The social distance comment was speculative yes, but to focus on that above other things just shows why we are where we are in the political sphere (politicians being do guarded as to never give a straight answer). I prefer to focus on the fact that on Monday we will have details on when all of wales will be fully vaccinated.
  16. Please let it be pyramid sub
  17. Yeah, looking after us and telling the truth rather than what we want to hear. What a bunch of pricks.
  18. Yeah, i agree. I think the question is not specific enough for me either. Reading it back he seems to have answered it for the here and now rather than for 2 months down the line... I’ll convince myself of that to keep the flame of hope alive.
  19. Finally talk moves away from restrictions lifting. I’ll go for: Ukraine 3 v 0 Austria North Macedonia 1 v 3 Netherlands Russia 1 v 1 Denmark
  20. Re: numbers, another zero death day (8th in a row) and there has been an increase in case numbers (weekly average of 47 compared to 41 this time last week), so ok news there. The not so ok news is when asked by Wales online the answer is not what I or Green man probably wanted to read, and more importantly no questions on Covid insurance. I read that as game over, unless there is a conversation we are not privy to between the government and the events industry. Greenman's next tweet or announcement will be telling. Q. 4,000 people non-seated outdoors is probably still too small a number to make many outdoor festivals economically viable this summer - is there still a chance they could go ahead or is that now unlikely? What would you need to see for that to happen? A. I think one of the things that we've learned is that the sectors we're talking about are immensely creative and imaginative, and have found ways of allowing things to go ahead, often on a smaller scale, but still successfully and still financially viable. So I think we will we will anticipate that they will be sort of that sort of going ahead, albeit that they won't be off the scale that would have been possible before the virus began. But it doesn't mean that you can't do whatever can be done, and it doesn't mean that those things can't be successful. And I really pay tribute to people who work in all these sectors for the creativity that they have demonstrated in using the scope that is available to them and doing as much as they can even if it's not as much as we would all like to have seen.
  21. Posted this elsewhere so will post here as most relevant. Up to 10k (seated) or 4k (standing) allowed for outdoor festivals for Wales as of Monday. Will be watching the 12.15 conference so will feed back. 10,000 is for seating and 4,000 is for standing and includes festivals. It’s a good start and wales online normally do a good interview with Drakeford when restrictions are eased, and i’m hoping they ask the cancellation insurance question but not counting on it. Also he has consistently said outdoors is safer so that works in Greenman’s favour. Drakeford has also said all restrictions in wales will not lift on June 21st despite what england do, as we want to build the vaccine wall as high as we can (by then all adults will have been offered a first dose, we would have given 1st doses to almost 90% of the adult population, but only about 55% of second doses). Assuming a 3% rise on second doses, we are looking both first and second doses as having happened by Greenman and it’s summer. We are in good shape but it all depends on AZ effectiveness against the delta variant

  24. If we are being polite. What a dickhead that man is
  25. On first doses we are and also we double jabbed the most vulnerable first as well (by beginning of May - we are the red line). Time will tell but it’s squeaky bum time. Truth is if this was the original COVID everything would be open. If it was the Kent one we would almost be there. Indian variant and the jury is out.
