  1. I'd already voted for option 3, sorry.
  2. Oh ok, you had me worried i'd missed one today so my strategy wasn't working.
  3. I've not seen any of the other ones but I would guess complexity of design and number of colours has an impact on the designs which were chosen due to the printing limitations and cost.
  4. Did one come up today?
  5. I think that's how they plan their sets these days, a mate saw them at Glasto last year and it was the same format.
  6. Congrats on your win too. If we both end up with volunteering positions maybe we should team up!
  7. Definitely last year, it was the West Holts Crew Bar though - i've only ever had access to it last year so the year is definitely correct. If this thread is about a public bar I apologise, I didn't realise there were 2 West Holts quizzes.
  8. Pretty sure it was early evening, 4 or 5pm. We won a drink each from the bar but, as you say, being able to boast is the biggest prize. They also had a table tennis competition on the Saturday or Sunday afternoon, my wife came second and she won a badge that said Table Tennis Queen or something.
  9. It happened last year on Weds. My team won, but as i'm not going this year [yet] you might have a chance.
  10. After Primal Scream they were giving away food for free instead of wasting, we were stood right next to them so all got something nice to eat.
  11. I was told by someone that only a few staff could change the barrels, so once a barrel was done they had to wait until one of those people were about to change the barrel. I did notice beers in that bar came and went from the board depending on when you were there. I get why they had the main range of real ale in the one bar as it stops a load of half used barrels around the site but the queue in that bar on some occasions was ridiculous early in the festival when they had all of the beers on. They should have more barrels and more staff in that bar if that's how they've gonna do it.
  12. I go swimming when i'm WFH on a Tuesday and Thursday so have to get up earlier so I get back for work around 09:30, i'd have been at home until 07:40ish so would have been here for the whole window.
  13. This is so annoying, had it been yesterday or tomorrow i'd have been up at that time.
  14. Same situation with me, had a lie in as i'm going on a training course rather than usual work and they come up while i'm still asleep. Been checking on the hour and half relentlessly when at my desk for work too. Hopefully some more come up but i'm starting to feel like it's not my year this year.
  15. A hand would be appreciated here too if any are available.
  16. Surely there can't be that many on here still without a place. Hoping some odd places still come up, not giving up yet.
  17. Me too but thanks to @golden egg
  18. The one day I get a lie in as i'm going on a training course is the day they all come up.
  19. Yeah, the portion sizes were miniscule at a lot of the food places. I got the impression they might have all been told to use the same compostable containers by the organisers (to be good for the environment (as they mostly seem to all use the same ones) but, if so, they should have used a bigger size.
  20. These days I just tend to wander a lot at the festival and see what I can happen upon, i'm not bothered about rushing about to see whoever or paying loads of attention to who is playing and listening to them on Spotify before the fest. I'll generally have a headliner each day I want to see and a few bands dotted around that are must sees but the rest depends on where I am at the time and what I feel like doing, if I see something and it's not for me i'll move on somewhere else.
  21. Got chatting to a guy at Bearded whilst he was emptying 2 massive Lenor bottles full of piss into the urinals in Gibbs field on [I think] Friday or possibly Saturday morning? Just wondering if it was an eFester?
  22. I'm enthusiastic for Glastonbury and i'm not even going! I get what the OP is saying though and i'm glad I went to BT as it's making me not having a ticket this year a bit easier to deal with.
  23. They should have waited until Monday and i'm sure they could have had one for free.
  24. Was definitely there last year.
  25. I've only been to Bearded and Glastonbury since I started going to Bearded in 2019 so it's definitely not another festival i'm thinking of. I'm 95% sure Magical Sounds had something up on the doors to the tent showing set times in the past and i've never bought a programme (until this year) yet i've somehow known what times people were on so was sure it was posted up somewhere in past festivals. If not £5 per ticket they should just work out the number of programmes/lanyards sold and divide it by the number of tickets and add that onto the ticket price. They seem to have loads left on Saturday/Sunday so it would reduce waste too. I heard someone arguing with a seller on Saturday that as a day had already passed they should get it for a reduced price.
