82 was my first, missed some due to kids but been working for a good few years now so unlikely to miss any until I keel over! Both daughters were in 5 groups & with all of them trying they managed get tickets for everyone, first time this has happened.

Just got this from Ticketweb, was going to see Poppy Ajudha in Brighton next month but sadly cancelled now. The album is brilliant too, will be in my top 10 this year. This is so so sad. I’m devastated to say this but I need to cancel my forthcoming UK and EU tour. I’m an independent, self funded artist and despite putting in lots of my own money to get to this stage, and always wanting to give you guys the best of what I can do, the current cost of living crisis, the effect of Brexit on touring musicians, and now the collapse of the pound recently has made my tour unsustainable. I’ve waited so long do this and am aching to perform the album for you so I’m beyond gutted, but I hope you all understand this difficult decision.

Slightly off topic but we went on Sunday to Wembley, stood on the pitch just in front of the delay towers. Fantastic show, great spectacle but the sound was awful, spoilt it for me. I know it can be iffy there but I have been to gigs there before & the sound has been excellent. It makes you grateful for the sound at the Pyramid. The should get it right at £100 a ticket.

40 years since me & my mate first went, we are both 60 now & despite all the aches & pains we both plan to continue for the foreseeable future. We still talk about the years we have missed (kids etc) You always regret the ones you miss. Keep going as long as you can. Its truly special to be able to go, it should never be taken for granted.

I have never asked for a vet shift as prefer the earlys but they are always over subscribed so thats a result. I think most stay on the crews once they have done it the first time so more people ask each time. Just so so happy to be going back after the break
