  1. Any shouts for 2024? If she’s in the UK, Olivia Rodrigo would be an interesting one? Potentially Vampire Weekend? Reckon we’ll have a new album from them soon…
  2. Last day was actually great! HAIM were perfect with the main stage sound being spot on, Confidence Man smashed it out the park, and discovered a few new artists (shoutout to Isabelle LaRosa!). Could certainly tell the difference in numbers leaving, was much easier than Friday. Ngl tho, it was better for it.
  3. According to a steward I spoke to on site, expected to be as half as busy as Friday today…
  4. Superb day, bar a bit of The Strokes (right of stage sound was terrible). Managed to move centrally and enjoyed most of it! on the side of stage note, feel especially sorry for those in the access viewpoint areas, who can’t move and peruse…
  5. Been this way at most things (bar Wide Awake) that I’ve attended this year - it’s a real shame but clearly a cost-cutting/efficiency saving method
  6. Would love to see Squid added to the Strokes lineup, O Monolith is superb.
  7. New artists announced for Jungle day - must be coming close to other days’ second announcements.
  8. Are we expecting more names soon? Would love to see The Walkman added for the Strokes day and they’ve got a gap in their schedule around then…
  9. Only went Saturday sooo… Best act of the weekend: Sam Fender, what a superb set. Act that most exceeded expectations: Aitch, he’ll be headlining in 5 years time (or less). Best new act you discovered: Demob Happy seemed good whilst having lunch. Best musical moment (song, crowd, etc): Sam Fender joining Declan McKenna on stage for ‘Brazil’ - so unexpected and was a treat!
  10. Poor signal at Leeds meant the food vendors spent most of the time with their hands in the air. Bandwidth definitely needs to be improved for future cashless fests, as it was sometimes nigh on impossible…
  11. This makes me incredibly thankful I have a separate bar Lane through disabled access… It was me who thought girl in Red would get a small crowd, but I’m so glad she didn’t - a fantastic artist! Well done to her! Very excited for today… especially to see what the hell happens with Catfish… if all else fails, Hybrid Minds will be a good fallback option.
  12. What’s the ground like at Leeds? Wondering whether to go for walking boots or trainers.
  13. R&L’s to blame! App/social media notification came for today when in fact it’s tomorrow!
  14. This app is the worst thing ever. That’s even with the Sherlocks playing.
  15. IDLES for the Pit? Or are they far too big?
  16. Shame have just announced two London shows for tonight…. possible secret/replacement set?
  17. Solardo are decent on the Dance Stage if you want to avoid Posty
  18. Would second the Vistas shout - expect a Scottish Vaccines vibe from them.
  19. Lathums? Would probably be around the same calibre as inhaler.
  20. Could also see Lock-Up artists play main stage - e.g. Yonaka, Nova Twins or Ashnikko - and then do their second set; vaguely remember this happening in 2019
  21. I reckon either Frank Turner or Trash boat to step in for the Pit.
