  1. Sad to hear that. But you'll see him at Primavera too, right? I'll be joining you for a beer, shouting along to Billy Dilly being killed off.
  2. These are just the first names. 😉 Curious about which names you'd like to see. Hoping for Tyler the Creator, his last album is one of the best albums of the year and his recent shows (like his Lollapalooza set) look really great.
  3. New for Roskilde: Dua Lipa, Tyler The Creator, Haim, St. Vincent, Arlo Parks, IDLES, Fontaines D.C., Converge, Kelly Lee Owens, Moses Sumney, Lingua Ignota, Black Pumas... All welcome for RW.
  4. I've seen Nick Cave at Rock Werchter 2018 and it was one of the best festival shows -period- I've ever witnessed. Very much looking forward to his shows at Primavera and TWC next year. The man is a beast live. If you get the chance, go see him with his bad seeds.
  5. Is Stromae well known in the UK? Because he's huge in Belgium (obviously) and France. And he's back. And he announced a massive one-day event in Werchter.

    Nick Cave

Do yourself a favour and listen to Carnage. It's excellent from start to finish.
  7. Why do you think that? Weird thing to say.
  8. And The Strokes mate, The Strokes. Haim - Asap Rocky - RHCP - The Stokes would be a good row. Thundercat and King Princess in the KlubC.
  9. Kendrick Lamar. His debut was good. The follow ups are era defining.
  10. I'm really, really curious about what the new Kendrick album will bring him. Drop it, Ken.
  11. Yes. I guess Kenny will be the next announcement? Please?
  12. Last time they played Rock Werchter, they didn't even manage to sell out their day (while being a pretty exclusive festival booking in 2019), whereas other big acts like Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Foo Fighters,... managed to carry a day on their own. In the past they seemed like a much hotter ticket. Maybe it's because they're touring too much? I mean, next year they're even playing festivals like Open Air St Gallen, Mallorca Live, Beauregard Festival...
  13. I'd say they've peaked in terms of size haven't they? They're still a big band, but I've got the feeling their status has dropped a little.
  14. The Killers' 2018 Rock Werchter show is in my all time worst shows anywhere. What happened.
  15. Still scratching my head on how that song became so popular. Coldplay has become much more -measuring my words- simple but they've still not wrote a lyric as cheesy as the ones in Fix You. Dreadful song.
  16. There hasn't been a record that made such a big impact on me upon first listen than this one. Class.
  17. It won't be live, but a video/hologram thing. Pass.
  18. A pity Interpol is out. Also quite a surprise since it's been a while since they played the festival (2014) and last time was really good. Would imagine they'd be on the fest the next time they're touring. Don't know what went wrong here...
  19. What will we get first. A KidAmnesiac drop or a The Smile drop. Either way hyped and then some.
  20. I think there are buses going to and from Hasselt.
  21. Anyone been to Roskilde? Their 2020 lineup was pretty insane and something of a dream lineup to my tastes (The Strokes, Taylor Swift, Thom Yorke, Kendrick Lamar, Faith No More, FKA Twigs, Deftones, Anderson Paak, Haim, Tyler The Creator,...). Consider "Glasto - Sziget - Roskilde" as the 'big three' of European fests, but I hardly read anything about Roskilde here on Efestivals. Why is that?
  22. I'm sure you were joking but
