The dan avery & richard fearless set on glade thursday might have a bit of this? It should be full on party mode 1-3am but optimo on san remo should be great Man Power has a couple of DJ sets over the festival too!

Car henge is and will be crap and williams green had some of the brightest new (ish) talents at the festival. We’re all entitled to our opinion and mine is that its a ridiculous loss and one where they could and should have found something else to cut.

50p on 170k tickets is £85k That would more than cover artists fees for the fri-sun of williams green, i reckon obviously setting up the tent plus sound, lights, security etc is a cost on top of that

This is where i come down on it. Contingency of “oh it doesnt rain much in spain in may and june” doesnt really cut it for me. i suspect they knew it wouldnt take a lot of rain and went ahead anyway. Gambled and lost. they could/should be insured but what they knew or didnt know about the site’s inability to take a bit of rain may be key in what they get paid out on. Clearly we will never know!

Glastonbury will only be platforming acts that have already broken through for the most part, if their smallest stages / slots are early doors park and woodsies (Emerging talent comp aside which has rarely had anyone that great) Panic shack are on truth but where are the likes of lynks / lambrini girls / fat dog / keg etc

I am into dance music but how is it right that theres 25 late night options for this and few non dance offerings late night? How is it right to remove the only well curated new acts tent? i cant do owt about it but its very poor

If they had to cut budget it should really have been done elsewhere, but we are where we are. that bastille slot on the thursday last year along with the health and safety police has basically killed WG. bit of both i guess

This is the long & short of it you can play 4 from the car as long as you play 5/6 from the debut

If they added ritz, sun goes down and a certain romance they’d have themselves a setlist. 90 min set is pathetic for a band their size and when tickets are £75-£80
