Sure you can hold hope for Taylor but it isn't looking likely considering she is gone from Mad Cool... And yeah, I was viewing it as he was finishing his tour dates in 2020 and then would be back in 2021 just doing one off shows (e.g. Glasto) - I don't think he is planning on quitting performing entirely... It's quite possible it still won't happen but considering he is literally playing as close to the festival as possible (week before Bristol, then a week gap till he plays Swansea) then he is set up as well as he could be. If Taylor had that kind of gap you'd be all over it.

Couldnt that also be the case with Elton? Seems like the tour would have been rebooked around Glasto if he is playing which would mean he has already been signed up for a while... And I'm not sure we can say confidently that they are chasing the 2020 set first. In fact I'd say that looks fairly unlikely, with other euro festivals dropping Taylor & Kendrick off their bills and rumours that they are both not touring next year. I wouldnt be surprised if the Elton set had been agreed a fair while ago for 21/22 as a big finale to this goodbye tour, and it happens that COVID has caused the tour to slip to fall around the Glasto set instead.

Still sad at the lack of Sober in some of those setlists - but if you left it up to me it would be pretty melodrama heavy... Yeah the album is pretty naff imo - where are the hooks?? Lorde what have you done with all the hooks?

I find the Park really hard to judge as they always seem to get acts in slots I would have thought were too small for them - Idles and King Princess from 2019 especially come to mind (Idles sold out ally pally the year they played 3rd down on the Park...) Acts like BCNR, Squid etc. may be big in music circles but I don't think they sell as well as you expect. BCNR for example are playing Electric Brixton a few months before Georgia is playing there (who was in a similar slot in 2019) Agreed though that the lower placings like those are the ones I am least sure about...

On the other hand, Elton has done a fair bit of stuff with Dua the past year, maybe she has spoken to him about it?

New Nas album is really good

I mean I like the album, but the only reason it is that high on my list is because the rest of the month has been so mediocre for me. Like it probably won't gleam my AOTY list - if it had been released last month it wouldn't have even been in the conversation for my top of the month (Sault, Dacus, Tyler, King Gizz, Wolf Alice, Japenese Breakfast, Spellling etc.)

Depends on if he is willing to come over just for Glasto - agreed they don't have to rush to book in new people but other Euro fests do seem to be in a bit more of a rush to get things sorted early.

No idea, only thing I have read so far about it is that she has been in the studio with Mark Ronson and now I can't wait for Lizzo on an Uptown-Funk type beat.
