  1. Cinemageddon secret set confirmed. I think everything they do makes a splash tbh. I’m happy to go on record here and say if they do get to playing live shows and they do play Glastonbury then they’re at least sub headlining if not headlining a stage.
  2. I’d say those two in particular will do a mix of their tunes and other tunes.
  3. If you put away your personal feelings towards Glastonbury. Why would they do their first gig as a secret set here and not a gig in you’d have to say in London?
  4. Thursday Batu in Wow Friday Khruangbin Saturday Macca Sunday Kenny
  5. I fucking wish mate. I think SAULT would be a West Holts headliner already tbh. They’re incredible.
  6. I’d say very similar to that set. Maybe not as good as it’s a real personal favourite of mine. Check this one out from Palms Trax as well I was there for this. https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/MUsFfae1ncta1pjV8
  7. 100 percent this. I think if I was to do a totally selfish ideal Oasis set I wouldn’t have Wonderwall or Don’t Look Back in Anger in there myself. Seen them do them enjoyed them but there’s so many I’ve never had the chance to see them play.
  8. Yeah gonna be a nightmare getting into Downlow for Todd. I feel compelled to go. Thursday looking like Sherelle, Sasha, Jennifer Cardini, Skream garage set and Batu. Quite how that actually works out with the trekking and overlaps I don’t know. Undecided on Overmono at Icon or Craig Richards Friday. Sunday probably Icon/Genosys all night.
  9. I’m planning on a Saturday of Four Tet Luke Una Metronomy (maybe) Tony Christie (legit could be the sing along of the festival) Noel/Macca into the Downlow for Todd Edwards onto Icon for Joy O/Pangea b2b Parriah.
  10. Does anyone find the criticisms of Noel a bit OTT? I feel like people will go out of their way to tell you how they’re not into Oasis or the solo stuff as if to be of some sort of elitist music taste. Are they really any more middle of the road than say Foo Fighters who seem to get a lot of love or The Killers?
  11. Wish he’d do The Right Stuff. I think it’s one of his best songs.
  12. Definitely the biggest sing along for me. My voice is gonna be shagged. Probably do everyone around me a favour to be fair.
  13. I avoid this thread like the plague but what are we looking at?
  14. Coz the one I’d rather have got which is a lot quicker has no seats available.
  15. I’m getting the train to the festival on Wednesday. My journey time has now increased by a good couple of hours but so fucking what. Incomparable to people who’d be potentially losing their jobs. Power to the strikers I hope it comes off for them. They have my total and utter support.
  16. I’d be really into this set list. Never gonna get the perfect one especially when it comes to picking the Oasis songs but I’d enjoy that a lot.
  17. Just back from Primavera. Seen Harvey. That man needs to do Glastonbury. Perfect set easily in my top 5 I have ever seen.
  18. Never done Rabbit Hole/Funkingham Palace, Strummerville. Never had a proper look at the Theatre areas I’ve passed through them.
  19. Got to be Live and Let Die doesn’t it? Fucking fireworks going off left right and centre.
  20. I disagree to be honest. I’ve found myself dipping in and out of the downlow with Genosys and Icon most nights in 2019. I’ve queued once and I’m there for the music not to gawp or tick something off my “bucket list”
  21. I’m not convinced this headline show at Glastonbury is going to be mega heavy on the new album myself. He’ll play some of it sure. If ya wanna get into him listen to Good Kidd Madd City. That’s his best record. The record before that Section 80 has some real high points on it but to me is a record of potential/promise of further to come. As much as I like it if you’re just starting to get into him I’d consider it an after thought. To Pimp a Butterfly I’d say is his most accessible if you aren’t necessarily a hip hop head. There’s a record of unused ideas/unfinished songs from this era with a similar sound called Untitled Unmasteted. If you find you connect with To Pimp a Butterfly more than Good Kidd I’d recommend that next. DAMN has the bangers but is of a certain style that maybe if modern hip hop isn’t your thing you won’t connect with as easily. He’s had some big features on tunes over the years. Easiest way to shuffle though this is probably “This is Kendrick Lamar” on Spotify or whatever. This man is an all timer for me so I wouldn’t do yourself the disservice of just listening to new record + hits. You’ll miss out on some incredible music if so.
  22. Macca into Downlow for Todd the God is gonna be an effort.
  23. Lol are people seriously trying to crack on that The Strokes and Massive Attack probably no longer playing weekend one without any replacements is okay and if it isn’t the festival isn’t for you. Who do you think you are hahaha.
