  1. Similarly - while I'm certainly impressed if someone knows or is able to quickly calculate how many barleycorns are in a furlong, it's still inferior to using the metric system.
  2. Working as well. Merry Christmas to everyone, good luck to those trying in the resale and see you on the farm. I wish you tons of good music until then.
  3. Haha yeah, but have you thought about how BMTH shouldn't really headline?
  4. This topic literally has the same 3 conversations over and over again and not much else. AM are nailed on for friday - but is it friday? - perhaps it's styles - AM are nailed on for friday GnR are shit - GnR are shit - GnR are shit It's not gender balanced - it's not about the headliners - but emily said so - except she said the exact opposite - what about that random big female act that hasn't toured in ages and there's no signs she will next year? - it's not gender balanced Oh, and there's the occasional Peter Kay thing, which is even worse 😂
  5. It's been a great year for me gig-wise. Had a ton of tickets for festivals/gigs that were postponed, postponed and postponed again, but than most of them happened during summer. My Chemical Romance Idles The Killers (2x) Šumski White Lies Gogol Bordello Royal Blood (2x) Sleaford Mods Deftones A/lpaca The Comet is Coming Roisin Murphy Mordai Kasabian Wolf Alice Thrice Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes Metallica Fever 333 Nothing But Thieves Modest Mouse London Grammar The War on Drugs Muse Pixies Editors Kings of Leon King Gizzard (2x) Grace Cummings Arctic Monkeys Inhaler Tame Impala Porcupine Tree And a ton of more or less local acts. Top three would be The Killers at Mad Cool, Tame Impala at Arena Pula and Porcupine Tree at Gasometer. The second night of King Gizz at Šibenik fortress is an honorable mention. Their first night and MCR in Prague were great performances ruined with shitty sound, and NBT were awesome, just ruined by weird placement at Mad Cool (only 35min, tucked on the third stage in the afternoon, was absolutely packed despite 40+ degrees). Great fun, great memories, and even better - plenty of plans for next year.
  6. High speed rail in Spain is great, had only good experience the couple of times I used renfe. Flying to Madrid or Valencia and then train is certainly a good and cheaper alternative.
  7. I still expect some overlap since the profile of the festival is so similar to Primavera, but Madrid certainly makes things harder for them. There's space for one of the Prima headliners on the 11th I suppose (Kendrick could do it with no consecutive dates for example) and there's some tasty stuff in the undercard, especially those that are exclusives (Mars Volta would be a huge coup, and there are the likes of Ghost and TWOD too). Fred again must be a possibility as well. This is all just guessing based on looking at the Prima posters. We'll se soon enough.
  8. Couldn't find the 2023 topic for this little gem of a festival. Majority of the lineup coming in January - according to their instagram.

    Brixton Crush

Shocked the s*n hasn't blamed the people with the tickets yet. Until full investigation is complete the press should be extremely careful about what and how they publish. These are sensitive, hard and no doubt traumatic times for the people involved, not a means to sell better.
  10. @stanhpretty much ruled out, yeah. Planning Dublin to Prague to Istanbul to Glasto makes no sense.
  11. Other sure, I'm under impression "headline Saturday" means the pyramid.
  12. Not big enough, too niche, no Keith? Is there anything official re the new album? Don't get me wrong, I love them. But I don't think they have a broad appeal and losing a frontman usually warrants a bump down, not up, even though I hear (and believe) they are still fantastic live.
  13. Waters would headline or nothing I'd say. Nick Mason's Saucerful of secrets though... Gimme that anywhere anytime and I'll be there.
  14. No I know and I don't expect them to be at Werchter, I just want to finally catch them live and was wondering whether they have any other EU dates apart from Malaga that I have missed.
  15. The voidz are touring, but the strokes only have cala mijas in the end of August, or have I missed something?
  16. Imagine the opportunities! Exclusive fourth down on the bandstand. 🤯
  17. Don't mind if I do, wablbrlblafjhasdbgalsjfba!
  18. Just banter mate, no worries. No PL and no glasto announcements, I'm getting bored.
  19. Chill man, it was just a joke. Like city's attempts at winning the CL.
  20. BLAND - AVERAGE - THEM AGAIN, REALLY? NICE - QUITE GOOD - OK WHO? - OH WOW GREAT - MEH - FABULOUS OK I GUESS - NEVER HEARD - THREE SMALL LOCAL ACTS - CHEAP DJ HOW DO YOU EVEN PRONOUNCE THIS? - SOME TRAP CRAP PROBABLY WOULD LOVE TO FINALLY SEE THEM - NO NAME - ANOTHER NO NAME CHEAP DJ AGAIN - AND AGAIN (but not fred) - WILL LOVE AFTER I LISTEN TO THEM Every lineup this year.
  21. You're underrating her. But more importantly you're not considering the next year as a whole is looking pretty vanilla in terms of headliners touring, which makes booking a huge act that will do only a handful of European dates even more appealing.
  22. Wait a minute, surely America is supposed to have overpriced stadium/arena gigs and Europe great festival lineups, not the other way around?
