IIRC The Strokes were ruled out of being in the first announcement. With a European date in the very end of August they are perfectly fit into US rock band slot. Otherwise both The Strokes and Blur are ruled out.

As much as I like MCR, I can't see them headlining (don't think they accept smaller position) Sziget for two reasons: 1) They played 11 000 capacity venue in Budapest this year and there were approximately 5 000 to 6 000 people, you could easily buy your ticket at the entrance; 2) They were supposed to play Volt Festival in 2020 and weren't rebooked for the 2022 edition, probably also due to poor sales.

Just announced: Superbloom festival (2-3rd September, Germany) — Imagine Dragons, Ellie Goulding, Martin Garrix, Years & Years, Zara Larsson, Lost Frequencies, Giant Rooks, Ofenbach. Gampel Openair (17-20th August, Switzerland) — Macklemore, Cypress Hill, Tom Walker, Alle Farben and many local names.

If you add 1 to the date of the first and the last festival day you get 1015.

In case anyone was wondering, Slipknot is also out - Spanish exclusive for Resurrection Fest.

I have a completely wild (don't remember any festival doing it after starting ticket sales) theory that ivory doesn't relate to hint at all, but numbers 1015 do.

Remember that Ed Sheeran announced all of his tour dates, including Sziget, simultaneously. It was even before Szitizen Prime tickets went on sale. 98% sure The Weeknd won't be there, there is no way he would announce such a huge tour just to wait two more days and announce his Sziget show. Gaps are probably there just to put an additional date for a city after the first show there sells out.
