  1. Brand Pilsner, and it’s for 0.3L. So it’s approximately 5.8 eur for 0.5L.
  2. 25th anniversary headliners: P!nk, Kasabian, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Major Lazer, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, The Chainsmokers, Wiz Khalifa. (although undercard was impressive)
  3. Insanity, imagine the clashes.
  4. Leaving my first Rock Im Park now. Pros: great lineup to my tastes (still wonder how did it sell worse than many previous editions), many special guest appearances (the one I didn’t think I need but also the one I liked the most was Yungblud singing Break Stuff with Limp Bizkit), easy train / subway / bus connections (stayed in Fürth, different city, and yet managed to be back after festival day in an hour). Highlight of the festival: Tenacious D, were one of my bucket list bands to see live. BMTH definitely should be main stage headliners next time Cons: no floor coverage near the second stage at all, so when the mosh pit starts (and they started at every show and were HUGE) whole area becomes a big dustbowl. So if you are far from the stage you just barely can see it, and if you are close get ready to cough for the next few days. Food was quite pricey (still tasty). Can recommend the festival after all, but only if its lineup is your thing. They probably will need really strong first bandwave for 2024 to sell early birds, considering this year you could buy discounted tickets even cheaper.
  5. Also cancelled her show at North Sea Jazz Festival which takes place almost the same dates as Mad Cool "due to scheduling issues".
  6. There is "golden circle" near the main stage which works on "first come first served" basis. After reaching the limit they close the entrance to it, so if you want to be there I would recommend to come for RHCP at least 30 minutes before the show. Don't know about the second main stage, there wasn't such system when I've been there, but AFAIK stage plan is different now.
  7. Can assume that Slipknot and Muse duo are more expensive than all last year’s headliners combined. Lineup-wise festival became much bigger than it was in 2019. Campsite was comfortable and quiet, I also would rather prefer to sleep in a hotel or airbnb if there’re any last minute offers for a good price, but won’t mind to camp if there aren’t.
  8. Thanks for the heads up! It pushed our company to buy tickets for RIP 🙂
  9. The most fun thing that it's a first time in a long while when Lollapalooza Berlin lineup is better than the last year's.
  10. + Amyl and the Sniffers, Bonobo, boygenius, Christine and the Queens, L'Impératrice, Altın Gün, Lucie Antunes, Overmono, Viagra Boys, Silly Boy Blue, Ethel Cain, Noga Erez, Nova Twins, Gaz Coombes, Zed Yun Pavarotti.
  11. Looking at the site, it's either Arlo Parks or AJR. Don't know about their status in Europe, AJR are big in USA, Arlo Parks is (AFAIK) in UK. But judging on monthly listeners AJR are bigger and their music is more mainstream. Still there's a chance that Sunday sub will be announced later! But it's a slim chance.
  12. Seems AJR are subs for Mumford & Sons 🙃 A38 is great on Sunday though, Frank Carter into NBT (or vice versa) and then M83...
  13. Good ending: Lorde / Macklemore | The Killers Bad ending: Lorde / Macklemore | Major Lazer
  14. Jungkook's birthday is 1st of September, and please don't ask me why do I know that.
  15. They surely can promote Macklemore + Lorde as two headliners for one day. And Macklemore was considered a headliner in 2019, just like Twenty One Pilots.
  16. The Killers play Lovestream Festival in Slovakia on August 18th. One more step closer to Sziget.
  17. Will be a minority — saw Mumford at Sziget in 2018, and for me it was the best set of a festival, and probably one of the best concerts I’ve been at all. Don’t understand the hate, TBH. Still it’s funny but true that Imagine Dragons have more “rocky” sound live than M&S.
  18. My mistake then! Still there was a teaser by Untold, maybe change of artist's plans is the reason why they are still holding their announcement.
  19. Considering there was a hint on Sam Smith by Untold Festival (August 3-6th, Romania), headliners for remaining two days could be Sam Smith + Lorde and The Killers.
  20. Sziget was in a top tier for me for many years, but after last year I just can't recommend it - no decorations (which always were one of the best thing there), lots of dust, camping also became worse. Were there in a company of five and everybody was shocked how it went downhill so bad. Still in their social media sometimes they tell about improvements comparing with 2022 at this year's festival, but I don't want to check it out this time. However if it's your first Sziget then I'm sure you will enjoy it. Lowlands, on the other hand, was rather expensive, but very good - clean campings, great festival atmosphere, strong lineup. The main issue for me were some problems with a view due to Dutch people height (and I'm 1.80m tall), but main stage also was set higher than on other festivals, so it helped in some way 🙂 Tickets are sold out, and you probably won't find anything for a decent price until the festival week. Never been at Pukkelpop or Rock en Seine yet, but first Rock En Seine bandwave IMO is brilliant this year and Pukkelpop is also shaping nice.
  21. Full lineup. Nice undercard, questionable headliners (especially for foreigners).
  22. Great lineup for great price! Had anyone here been at this festival before? Any tips about location, where to live?
  23. One of my friends took a photo with Palaye Royale guitar player at the bar near Dropyard Stage, another one saw Steve Aoki near the barriers after Tame Impala show.
