Yeah I got a sneaky suspicion this is the start of a few that’s gonna pull out - there were a lot last time but had a feeling we weren’t done just hope they can get some suitable replacements in time - you can’t change the circumstances of them been pulled, but hopefully the replacements more than make up for it.

That’s the only thing - how many positive tests / results are going to come out of this. thankfully, I’m in the guest area and have also bring double vaccinated so I’ve done what I can before the festival. And I understand those who aren’t vaccinated etc. I don’t judge 😅 but it’s how many positive results come out after the festival which in turn this is the biggest event with it being full capacity with people all over the place I’m excited for the festival but scared about the aftermath, if that makes sense.

There should be. There’s special guests on the introducing and a couple of gaps here and there across some other stages too - one that stands out is the festival republic stage on Friday (Leeds) with a hour and a bit gap which could potentially hint at something. I definitely think they’ll be a secret set or 2

Honestly I agree with this. Not having the festival last year was honestly detrimental on my mental health. Plus, festivals like this helps the bands playing more than get back on their feet after a horrific 18+ month for the entire music industry

You can get through the KSI Set hell I’ll be with you if you want 😂😂 yeah in all seriousness there’s a shuttle that runs in between and a normal bus too. If you want more info lmk and I’ll message you so I don’t blow up the forum 😂

BMTH did it in 2018 and have a huge tour the month after (which only 1 date has sold out) so not sure whether they’d do another secret set (tbfh they should be headlining but I’ll save that for another time) would love a heavy band like architects. Missed them in Leeds, and recently got into them. Think they’d do a cracking set and would do them some good too to be on a stage like that. I wasn’t into Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes until their secret set and now I’d love to see them again. Gonna be interesting to find out who it is - will we know before the festival where and when? That’s what happened in 2019 but don’t know whether that was a one off or not

2 in particular are sticking out to me: Holiday by KSI and Bite Back by FEVER 333. I’ve had the privilege of seeing both these acts in concert before (KSI once, FEVER 333 twice) but KSI hasn’t half changed since 2019 when I last saw him. With his recent #1 album too, it’s going to be such a good set - with the likes of Yungblud, Nathan Dawe and the producer S-X all playing on the same day and having collaborated with KSI for songs, I could see some things happening there 👀 and with FEVER 333, they are one of the best live bands I’ve ever witnessed in my life and I am so, SO excited to see them once (well technically, twice) again! these 2 artists honestly make the lineup for me - and of course Biffy is a nice welcome addition. So definitely looking forward to it!
