    I get the reaction because a lot of people really connected with that record but don't connect with the things that she is saying and the way she is saying them now. In some instances that wouldn't necessarily matter. Thinking about it, if I'm in a gallery I might come across an artwork that I really love. If I then read the interpretation, or listened to the artist talk about the work, I might realise that I have no idea what they are talking about but that wouldn't particularly impact my experience of the work.

    In this case though, there's a shared language between the the music and the promotion of it. Everything Lorde does is thematic and carefully curated. The newsletters (which I'd take with a pinch of salt), the videos and the way in which she speaks about the record, all contributes to supporting and building on the world the record creates. It just so happens that not only is it not resonating with a lot of people, it is rubbing them up the wrong way, big time.

    Very good record in my opinion though.

    New tune is an absolute bop. Love all three tracks that have been released so far. I like that she hasn't made Melodrama part two. Times change and people do too. Can't wait to listen to the album. In terms of venues, Roundhouse will be amazing and as for seeing her outside, well let's hope she's on the Pyramid stage later that month.

He's obviously been quite down a lot of the time hes been at the club so was lovely seeing him be the main character of a trophy win

    We wanted Alisson but fannied about and then as you say panic bought. I think he's been through the ringer and his confidence was shot for a long time. He'll play some cup games but that's probably as far as it will go unless Mendy suffers an injury. As you say, happy to see him get his moment to contribute last night. Maybe he will pop up again in another shoot out in the future.

    I thought Chelsea would persist for another year with Werner and target Haalands £68million release clause next year. As I said it seems alot.

    When Jorginho was your top goalscorer with seven goals you simply have to sign a proven goalscorer.

    Jack Grealish is an absolute joy to watch imo. When he has the ball at his feet it is like watching a dancer on the pitch. I think sometimes with a player, you should just sit back and enjoy. He is one of those.

    Maybe, maybe not. Easy to get excited by new arrivals but if you look at when teams like Everton and Spurs have splashed, sometimes its ended up being a bit shit. Buendia, Bailey could potentially be good signs but I think there's just as much chance they could be shit.
