  1. Jo on netweather is doing another update today. Don't think I want to look. But take heart, in the middle of winter a northerly would have that forum quivering and it often downgrades. 🙏 its the same for summer ones.
  2. 2016 was my first time and I loved ELO. I remember the Wed night in the silent disco, the journey, booze etc catching up. My pals gave me directions on how to find the camp. I headed off. Still to this day, I am amazed, straight to my tent, no getting lost. I must have been a pigeon in a previous life.
  3. Your mum sounds brilliant. Really good tip about the lights as well. Thank you. 😁
  4. She is going with her fella, not camping with us. Guess it all depends on the ground condition. Crutches on 2016 conditions 😬😬😬
  5. I was there in 2016 and wow, massive credit to that lad. That is why the festival is so special.
  6. Hello everyone. Rest assured she is very mindful that although horrible it is not permanent. They have booked the glamping, so that is helping a bit. She asked if there was any chance of a pass that allowed a short cut between stages. But there is apparently nothing that can be done if your disability occurred after the cut off date. I know they are looking at a wheel chair, but if its muddy😬😬.

    Mobility Problem

Hello. Look time reader, but looking for help. My pal is coming this year for her first ever visit. However she has ripped her tendon in her leg. She has reached out to the festival for guidance. But all mobility issue cut off was end of April. She is on crutches and a moon boot. She is broken hearted, so I wondered if this community could offer any tips/advice.
  8. So do you reckon that is it for campervan tickets. 😬. Wish I got my finger out before now.
  9. Hia. Does anyone know if camper van tickets returns sale are at the same time as the main ticket resale? I emailed seetickets but only got keep an eye on the website vague reply? I have never taken a camper before but might this year.
  10. Hello. Another vote for Aigle. Here's why. Sorry for the long post. My first Glasto was 2016. Second day in my newish cheap wellies split. Luckily I had over packed and also had walking boots and gaitors. They did the job until Sunday, when the mud ripped the sole of my walking boot (mind they were old). So it was back into wellies, tapped up with Gaffer tape. The advantage of walking boots, is the grip. In wellies, I slipped everywhere but taking walking boots off, you get your hands filthy. When I got home, I researched wellies, even going on horse forums, as these people live in wellies. Hence I found Aigle. The Aigle is a shapped wellie with a walking boot sole. I often do 6 miles a day in woods walking my dog. They are expensive but worth it. Can walk for miles in them. But don't get the ones with the neoprene lining, your feet will melt.
